Honestly, I don't usually leave reviews but this place is AMAZING. Honestly.
I'm from NYC and have had a hard time finding a good halal place in San Antonio. Places that were given 4.5 stars tasted 2 star at best and you could tell it wasn't fresh. But this gem of a place did not disappoint! Hands down best burger and donor kebab in SA. Everything was well-seasoned, fresh, and delicious plus the staff is friendly. We will definitely be coming back as regulars.

First, what exactly is a Doner kebab? It’s the same thing as a gyro or shawarma (I won’t bore you with the details, but you can look it up on Wikipedia if you want the deets).
The kebabs and the shawarma can be ordered as a sandwich on soft, pillowy pita bread, on a bed or rice, or on a salad - each are the same price. I recommend the pita option.
I can’t decide what stole my heart here - the meat or the pita bread. The pita bread is served fresh and warm - it’s SO good. And the meat - wow! I’ve had the chicken shawarma and the Doner kebab and both were out of this world. The meat is seasoned very well, and so juicy.
Serving sizes are HUGE here! Doner kebab (a mix of lamb and beef) is $7.99 and the chicken shawarma is $6.99 (each include tzatziki sauce on the side). Compare the prices and serving size to other shawarma or gyro places in town, and you’ll realize the value you’re getting here - AND quality food.
The only thing they could improve on is to include more lettuce, tomatoes, and onion. All the veggies are stuffed on one end of it just for presentation’s sake.
Open late - until 2am on Fri and Sat and until midnight every other day of the week.
Nice clean place.

Well, I have been here twice now and I keep forgetting to take a photo before I chow down on this amazing food. But, this place is absolutely wonderful! I've had friends go and say great things about it, and my first time was terrific! Even though some of the menu is limited during Covid-19, (no waffles :( ) the kabab and chicken are nothing short of delicious and fresh!
The first time I went in it was just the one gentleman server, and there were three of us diners for dine in. I got the combination plate and was salivating the entire time the chicken was cooked fresh. The food was very filling and good for the price.
The second time (as I'm writing this review) was a to-go order, and I went with just the Doner Kebab because it's the quickest to make (just the kabab right off the skewer). Again, it was just the one gentleman there that came out with a smile on his face. I felt very welcome coming back, even though the signs said "closed" he apologized saying he was "very busy" and forgot to flip the signs. Regardless, the plate that I got was packed full of rice, with a hardy layer of meat on top, fresh veggies, and a perfect layer of sauce over all of it. I got a cup of hot sauce on the side and I devowered the entire place within 15 minutes of getting home.
I don't normally leave reviews on Google, but for small businesses like this one with exceptional food and service... I make no exceptions. This place deserves all the great reviews and ratings thus far, especially for how well this owner is adjusting to the times of covid-19. The gentleman is very nice, knows his portions, and makes some mean Kebab. I would emphatically recommend going if you've been wanting to try it, as I'm for sure going to become a regular at this location!
I am very impressed with the food here.
A friend and I had just got out of class and we're headed to the nearby bar for a drink. But we saw Doner Kebab and thought, yeah, let's try it. I didn't know what to order so I thought, ok, try the Doner Kebab and I randomly chose the bread variant. It was awesome, and for a fair price too.
Definitely give it a shot.
My favorite Zabiha Halal Burger Joint in SA! The burgers are always super delicious and juicy, and the flavor is to die for! If you are visiting, I definitely recommend trying this place out! Order in advance because they do have a wait time!
Tried the takeout twice from this place while in Sanantonio. They have great food and quick service .
Doner kebab with salad is delicious. If you like a lot of dressing ask for extra. My boyfriend's burger was really good but a little messy.
Found this little terkish popular cuisine by utsa next to deol bar. Wow. Food is great and tasted authentic. Will be going back for more soon!
Reminiscent of döner shops in Europe. It's not a game changer, but it's good and scratches the itch for kebab and shawarma. The fries were surprisingly good.
Amazing place to eat if you love Mediterranean food. My mom and I were amazed at the service and how fresh the food was when we ordered. It was super delicious. Definitely recommend to try it out. Everything was super clean and organized. Loved every bite of my food. Will come back for more!
