This Completely renovated with no flaws. Fantastic espresso, nice selection of beer, wine, items you want to take home. A LaVern and Shirley spot known as “the Pearl”, turned outstanding hotel on the riverwalk. Absolutely amazing for the romantic girl in your life.

Had an amazing visit, thanks to Mercedes the Barista! She is beautiful inside and out! She made sure she got my order correct and helped me in every way she could! 🫶🏻 It does not go unnoticed Mercedes!! 🙏🏻💫💐 I hope she gets a raise and recognition she deserves! I got a cortado with lavender and oat milk. As well as their garden salad 🥗

Larder is located within the Hotel Emma but is accessible from the Pearl walkway (or you can come in through the hotel). As a former business traveler, I can attest to the fact that this is the hotel shoppette that business travelers dream of. It has everything from meals to snacks to drinks - of all kind - to desserts, as well as reading materials and Texas-themed gifts. Larder offers a couple of seating areas so you can grab and go or enjoy your purchases in store. They have a full-service coffee bar and sell plenty of baked goods to accompany your drink. They also sell an impressive assortment of alcoholic beverages ranging from local brews (sold in cans not on tap) to wine for every taste and budget. There are plenty of snacks and meal items to go along with your drinks. And if you are trying to put together a Texas-themed package, Larder has a plethora of foodie and non-perishable items to choose from. I’m a local, but I love visiting this store. If you haven’t been, you must.

Great place to grab a coffee and breakfast. I should of wrote this review awhile back but I gotta say, they really stepped up last year during the shutdown. They sold groceries to the community when most grocery stores ran out of basic things like milk, eggs and meat. They even sold toilet paper!!! I was able to buy basic items for my parents during those times. I’ll never forget what they did and forever grateful. They offer great service and they are always friendly. Oh and my dog loves this place, I’m guessing it’s due to the dog treat’s they sometimes give her.

Great latte, and a very nice young man served me and we had a nice chat. Thanks for the good service! Also, hanging out in the lobby of Hotel Emma is so cool. What a unique place.

Perfect little general store/ hotel gift shop and bakery. Everything is delicious and well made, always clean, the service is excellent. And the home offerings and gifts are perfect.

This was a nice stop on my walk around plaza, the penne salad was so good. It had spinach, lemon, basil, parmesan and chicken. Very good size for the money. Staff was wonderful and even went back in later to get the speciality cookie to take home! Will be back next time I am out that way!

Cute little shop with a unique drink selection and wines. They also make fresh charcuterie boards with ingredients sold in the shop. We just stopped for a quick refreshment and caramels during our trip to the Pearl area but will be back.

Within the Hotel Emma (can access directly on the south side (back of the hotel), or from an internal hallway next to the bar. Premium bakery items, coffee/tea, some sandwiches, budget about $15 per person for a meal with beverage. Counter-service. Decor inside is excellent, well-planned out and worth the pictures. It actually reminded me a little bit of EPCOT mixed in the the Biltmore Mansion in Ashville, but obviously a little more functional. Good casual-date location, especially if you're looking to dodge the higher prices at the more expensive eateries. You can access the complex from the Riverwalk.

Staff is extremely helpful amd inviting. Latte was delicious and the dark chocolate cookie is huge. There's a fireplace in the hotel lobby as you exit Larder. Definitely returning.
