Wow, what an experience!! We had a wonderful time interacting with our waiter, the owner, and other staff. They were highly energetic and very helpful. The food was excellent! I had the Spaghetti Carbonara which was very well seasoned and served just after having aged cheese melted on it! Overall a great evening!
Strongly recommend. The help if very friendly, the ambiance is lovely, the prices aren't cheap, but the food is EXCELLENT. The carbonara is light on fire and prepared inside a giant cheese wheel right at your table. And it is fantastic. Go if you get the chance. And make a reservation just to be safe.
Simply the best authentic Italian restaurant I've been in America! I got gnnochi with shrimp and it was very tasty. Since it was my birthday, I even got a wonderful dessert and they sang Happy birthday in Italian for me. I totally recommend that restaurant to everyone.
Overall: A fantastic, intimate Italian restaurant in the heart of downtown. Close to the theater, convention center, and light rail.
Wait: Get a reservation for weekend nights. However, excited that we were offered a table top in the bar region and were seated right away
Wait staff: So welcoming and friendly! When we came in, we saw a waiter showing off pictures of his kids to a couple just finishing their evening. "When you're here, you're family!" Our waiter, was so nice. Took time to talk about the menu, to give us advice, even listened to my interests and guided us to a great selection of dishes. Thanks, Ammon.l
Atmosphere: Not too bright and not too dark. Just right - classy. Nice mix of modern and older styles.
Food: So good. Appetizer through entree. We loved the arancini. Sorry, Nico, but we didn't save you any. 😁 The pasta was so fresh and tasty. My wife didn't love the real shrimp, but it was oh, so tasty!
The same quality than Antiga Sicilia (they’re under the same ownership) and that tells you how good is this place.Maybe the best Italian restaurant in Salt Lake City downtown.Plenty of options of pasta , meat and fish.My very favorite is the Taglatielle de la Nona , but everything else is as good as you were in Italy (and I have been to Italy plenty of times to know what I’m talking about).Their desserts are good too.The only thing I didn’t like was the Truffle. The taste wasn’t there at all and they charge 30 dollars for it.Not worth it , to be honest. The rest is excellent and quality and great service.
Had a terrific dinner! The staff were all very kind and attentive and our server, Seth, was great! I ordered the Spinaci al burro and the specialty Spaghetti Carbonara. All of the food was delicious and I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys good Italian!
My friend recomended the Sicilia Mia and she tells me that this resturant is the best Italian food in Salt lake and you have to try it.
Infact, I love Italian food and I try man resturant around the world, but I never ever ate delicious food as Sicilia Mia. This resturant is reall have amazing food.
Also, the stuff are so professinal spacialy Caludio. The 5 stars are not enough. I ‘ll give them 7 stars
It's easy to understand why everyone has steadily given this experience 5 stars. My only regret is that this restaurant is so fine, that I can't lick my plates clean...hahaha. The sauces are that amazing. Everything is made from the finest ingredients, and cooked to perfection. Bring someone you love, because it's wrong to keep this to yourself.
THE best service available. Let alone the great tasting food. I definitely recommend the salmon and the bruschetta.
Gnocchi and shrimp was awesome ! This plate cost about 20$ with tax which is pricey. But the food is to die for ! Highly recommend.
