Words can not describe how phenomenal the service at this restaurant is. I was so happy to be at the world’s first KFC and the person who took my order, Adriana is one of the most genuinely nice workers I’ve ever met at a restaurant. Could not recommend checking this place out enough!
Had the Famous Bowel. Absolutely loved the whole experience. It was nice to read about & look at the pictures about the history of KFC. Great service and good atmosphere.
If Bobby Boucher ate here, he would think mama's wrong and Colonel Sanders was right! Almost like a museum with good food. Spacious and clean dining, super fast service and good fast food make for a pleasant fast food dining experience. The first KFC ever was in SLC, who knew?
While visiting Salt Lake City you have to visit the first KFC Franchise EVER! I didn’t know this existed until a friend found it. At first glance it looks like a regular KFC, just a bit larger. The menu had all the regular favorites plus a few additions like a new Mountain Dew beverage. There were also some neat displays on the history of KFC. The food was good and the atmosphere a bit fun.
A must visit in Salt Lake City. While not the original building, the building is full of historic items from the history of KFC.
This is probably the best KFC I have ever been to. Dining section is well kept and clean, service is prompt and efficient, food is well prepared and perfectly seasoned unlike some other locations I visited. OFC, it's still KFC thus it won't taste any different than what KFC provides. If you like KFC, then you should give this place a try.
Hello,
I want to Thank You for your excellent customer service yesterday Oct. 31, 2023. I showed up early for brunch.
I walked in and got a great reception, with excellent customer service. The ladies waited on us with patience and a smile while I placed my order.
Everything was available for a wonderful brunch; napkins, salt, etc. Very clean too. As I was chewing on my chicken, I looked up and read the signs inside. The signs ended with "Customer Comes First".
I just want all to know that the customer really does come first at

I had no idea this location had a buffet-style option. Under $10! Definitely worth it. I love the Nashville Hot though, never disappoints. The food here was actually great and didn’t taste like it had been sitting for 8 days! Their signature Mountain Dew is peach flavored and it’s good!
The buffet has a lot of options. Peaches, corn, green beans, biscuits, original and crispy chicken. Chocolate and vanilla pudding, coleslaw, and mashed potatoes and gravy.
The interior is very clean and tidy - definitely better than most fast food places.
I've bought chicken breast here a lot. Both the original and crispy breast are good. The original one has peppery, tender and juicy but sometime a little salty.
as for snacks, the fried chicken wings are a little bit dry, the burger tastes so-so, not recommended!
Mashed potatoes are good, especially with gravy, they taste amazing and I love it
The buffet is not there any more!!!
Still a dope kfc but I asked the person in the front and they said they stopped in in 2020 cause of the pandemic and too many people kept eating from it with out paying. Still a really cool museum!
