The Caesar salad with homemade Mayfair dressing and anchovies ( optional ) was so tasty and crisp, we loved it and there was enough to share! My chicken spedeini was so flavorful with a side of spaghetti that was delicious! Love the little hint of heat in the spaghetti sauce! Bob’s 3 meatballs on top of his spaghetti were large and tender and perfectly seasoned! We had to try dessert; A family recipe for pumpkin cheesecake that was to die for, and chocolate gelato that was filled with tiny pieces of chocolate, Yum! Can’t wait to go back and try something else. The menu has something for every taste. The ambiance is warm and inviting. They also have carry out, delivery and a drive thru if you want to eat at home! The pizza looked delicious! Great place!
Great family environment. This is a place that really cares about their food. They get good portions at fair prices. Service is over-the-top and friendly. I recommend everyone experience it for themselves. My family and I will be back. Keep up the good work guys. See you soon.
I've been driving to THE HILL for 30 years. That stops tonight. Huge portions. Crispy when it needs to be. Fresh. Flavor. Authentic. The RIGHT background music for an Italian restaurant!! I would have better pics but we ate too fast! We were too excited!
Best Pasta Salad in STL. Food was excellent and fast, server super friendly and helpful. Chicken Caesar Wrap Special was amazing as well. Also loved my cozy booth. Highly recommended by a trusted Foodie Friend, definitely see why!
This is a wonderful, cozy Italian restaurant. The food was somewhat hit or miss. The meatballs are delightful, so soft they nearly melt in your mouth and not too heavy or light on the seasoning. Not to mention, they're covered in tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. Three of us visited, and we all ordered a side ceasar salad with our meals, but one of them came out as a house salad. Our server ended up taking one salad off of the check, though. The two Ceasars were overwhelmingly heavy on the parmesan cheese. Other than that, not bad. For my main dish, I ordered the "Chicken Modiga". The breading on that chicken was so flavorful and well seasoned that it may be the best breaded chicken I've ever eaten. The asparagus tasted a little different than the asparagus I'm used to, but still good. The pasta as well, delicious. One of our entrées came out cold, which, along with the salad, costs them a star for food. The service was as expected for a packed Sunday dinnertime. I took off one star for bringing the wrong salad and the cold food. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, but the lighting was dim and it was difficult to see the menu. Highly recommend this establishment to anyone.
The fried artichoke hearts were amazing! The salad was great. The seafood cannelloni was really good, but a little on the small side. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing.
This is our favorite place! Portions are generous, staff is incredibly freindly, and the quality of the food is top notch! Try this place, you won't regret it! Our waiter Chris was very nice.
My family and I really enjoyed the Thanksgiving meal on Thursday. Ordering was easy, picking up on Thursday morning was so convenient! The food was excellent! The salad was so fresh and the dressing was incredible! We had enough for everyone to have leftovers! I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!
Great and friendly service. Carnivore pizza was well worth the money. We'll be back again soon to try more on their menu. Chelsea was an awesome waitress, and the cooks did their thing in the back because everything tasted great. Highly recommend, and thank you again to the staff up there!
Great food, went there on Valentines Day dinner and the place was packed as expected. Still managed to get the last remaining table because we arrived at 5:20pm. Food was good, service was delayed, but it was because there were only three waitresses trying to handle the entire restaurant. It wasn’t that they were slow, there was just a lot of customers and a few servers. I noticed there was consistently a line of about 15 people long waiting near the entrance to pickup to-go orders. This went on from our 5:20pm arrival through our 7:00pm departure. Even so, food was great, even if it took a while to arrive, and the waitress was apologetic for the delays and always nice. Highly recommend coming here if you want some good Italian food. I got the manicotti and it’s the real deal. Just be prepared to sit around because this place stays busy
Friendly service and the food is good, slightly overcooked but still delicious. I recommend The Don sandwich, great smokey flavor. Spaghetti is good but not distinctive. Large quantity but still a little pricey for basic spaghetti. Great atmosphere. I would happily eat here again.
This is the first time we have eaten here for dinner, and I must say that this is the best Italian restaurant in St. Louis with no exceptions! Everything about this restaurant is spot on exceptional. Service Exceptional * Ambience Exceptional * Food Exceptional * Quantity of food for your money Exceptional. Chelsea was our server, and we could not have asked for better service. I added a few pictures.
