St. Louis Gyros

This review is for a visit oil the late afternoon of Aug 25 at the location on Olive Blvd. Perfecto. The food was great and most importantly the prep area was clean and all 3 employees correctly used their sanitary gloves...to mean that they removed them to take payment or whenever a non food prep job was performed and then put fresh gloves on for food prep. This was not the case on Aug 18 at the Manchester location. I am sorry I have to report a real cleanliness problem involving food handling, hair/face touching, money handling....no glove changes by anybody; won't go back there.

Great local business with delicious and HUGE lamb/beef gyros. They are generous with their portions, have a rewards program, and have great customer service. I usually also get their loaded fries with either chicken or falafel. Don’t be fooled, it’s not a side, is entree size portions! This place is one of my comfort food places and never disappoints! Atmosphere just feels a bit like an and older Subway sandwich place, so we usually get take out and eat at home.

Been going to STL Gyros for several years now. NEVER have been disappointed. The tzatziki is house made. The gyro meat is always fresh and seared perfectly. The French fries are HUGE and the assortment of toppings are great. I always opt for a wheat pita (in the pic) but you can get white, wheat or a gyro salad (what I go for when I’m in a keto mood). The Falafel is good (although I’m not an expert). The owner is always hustling inside and several of his employees are long term (since he opened). If you are in the the mood for a good local gyro spot, give this a try-you won’t be disappointed!
