Denny's

I recently visited Denny's in South County, St. Louis and was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and efficient. The menu had a great variety of options. I enjoyed the Grand Slam breakfast - the pancakes were fluffy, the bacon crispy, and the eggs were just right. The hash browns were perfectly golden, and the seasonal fruit was fresh. Their signature burger for lunch was also fantastic, with a juicy patty and a soft, yet sturdy bun. The standout aspect was the outstanding service - the staff were helpful and made my dining experience exceptionally pleasant. Denny's in South County is more than a restaurant; it's a wonderful culinary experience. Highly recommend and can't wait to return!

We went to this diner on an afternoon that we had off. We enjoyed the food that we ordered. I had double cheeseburger and fries. MJ ordered a Santa Fe Skillet, which had sausage, cheese, and other tasty parts. We had to wait a while, although not many people were there when we arrived. But the food is worth it.

Teresa is the best waitress I have ever had! She made sure everything was perfect and gave us the best experience despite what she is dealing at her job, including disfunctional management that would not turn down the AC that made us all move to the other side of the restaurant, and aggressive coworkers that were hanging out at the back booths. I saw the craziness first hand yesterday during the day.

There was one lady in particular who was an employee there and I had to give her an extra tip on top of her already earned tip because my son threw up all over his clothes and she went to her car and got him an outfit and she did not have to do that makes me think there still some awesome people in the world shout out to her but other than that it seemed like the rest of the staff really didn’t want us there and I was there with my church family so for that 8/10 rating from me on atmosphere and 10/10 rating on service because of our waitress I would love to be able to see her again she was the kind of person you keep in touch with 💯💪🏾

I'm gonna tell the truth here. 1st The guy helping us was super nice. He was funny and had a good sense of humor.. I'm pretty sure he felt like was running a 3 ring circus. This place was a hot mess but if you had patience and a lot of time then you were good. Idk if everything that could go wrong was but it seemed like it. We just rode with it. We just left a snoop concert and had no cares in the world. It took a long time to get coffee but we got the whole pot! It took a long time to get to order but when we got our food it was fantastic! We didn't get everything to order but dude made it right. After his night I feel like he deserves a paid day off from his bosses. Fr

Teresa helped me and my family with the most outstanding service! She made sure my kids felt comfortable with ordering their food, and made sure to let them know everything that comes on/with in case they didn’t like something! She paid attention, made sure we were accommodated and happy! Will definitely be stopping in again. Teresa is AMAZING! Hope to see her there again.
