Sam's Steakhouse

We love Sam's Steakhouse. A Saint Louis standard. The service is always top notch and the steak are excellent. The restaurant is old school in the best way. The bar area feels like an old Chicago lounge. We usually get ribeyes, which are always excellent. Their creamed spinach is my favorite side. The shrimp Louisiana starter is amazing.

If you are looking for a fine dining establishment with deep roots in this area look nowhere else, this is the place to eat. This fine 5-star fine dining establishment has deep roots within the Anheuser-Busch family and is located on the ground of the Busch family estate. I highly recommend that you take your hard earned money here. Not only will you be beyond satisfied, but you may take your next meal home with you. The food is Gordon Ramsey quality standard and the management is super friendly and fun. Mark does an outstanding job and has completely re-shaped and reformed the dining experience at an establishment that has been around for many decades. I make sure to eat her at least once if not twice a year.

Good location, nice atmosphere, table was wonkie (wabled all over), wine & water delivery ended up partly on the table cloth, nats flying around, salad was very good, appetizer was quite good, steak/potato very good. Expensive dinner ($230 for 2) but need to "clean up around the edges" to make it a truly great place to eat as well as worth the cost.

The server was awfully pleasant and helpful. We also had a second waiter which was also nice. The food was very splendid and sort of airy and light. My favorite was the bread there because it was so warm and fluffy. Everything was fresh and I enjoyed almost everything. The water waiter eyed me 6 times which made me scared but our visit was very good! Great place to visit.

My guy made a reservation here for my birthday. Neither of us had eaten here. Well, he picked a good spot!! The servers were really professional and polite. And the food, OMG delicious 😋 I had the cowboy ribeye and loaded baked potato. He had the NYstrip. When I say the steak were perfect, I mean it. It was cooked well, seasoned perfectly and delivered to the table warm. My cowboy steak was so tasty I didn't need to put anything on it. And I'm one of those people that loves to ruin a steak with A1 sauce, lol. And it was very nice portion size. Between that and the loaded baked potatoes, I only finished like half my meal. But yes, I left a little room for their chocolate mousse cake, which was rich and yummy. Took leftovers home and my guy tried to take the rest of my cowboy ribeye. No sir! 😁 Depending on your budget, it could be considered a bit pricey. Overall, It was a great first experience at this restaurant!👍
