Barg Continental Restaurant

We read the reviews on line and wanted to try Afghani cuisine. We highly recommend Barg. The food is freshly made to order (the wait time is not bad and worth every minute), the spices are on point, and the prices are very reasonable. The chef could not have been more hospitable. Please go. You will be glad you did and we need to keep this one.

My husband and I went here for our 2 year anniversary. It is conveniently located a few blocks from our house. -Pros- Good customer service, fresh food, nice atmosphere, international music/video playing to add to the ambiance. Also, the rice was DELICIOUS, probably the best I've ever had. -Cons- The chicken was a bit dry, but still good. We were the only customers there for about 40 minutes until other ladies came in. Although I'm thankful that our food came out quicker since we were the only ones, it can also feel weird being the only customer in a restaurant. All in all, good experience. The server was very accommodating to my special food request and very personable.

Food was amazing, very tasty, extremely delicious. Price was affordable and amount of food was big. But one thing that makes negative point for this restaurant is their poor service. When I arrived there it was Friday noon and no costumer was there, but it takes about half an hour to prepare my food, and they didn't bring even a cup of water for me during waiting time. I hope they read my comment and change their service style.

I can in during lunch today and had the Lamb shank special, and it was absolutely delicious. My plate was so colorful as well, it was an overall pleasing experience. I must also compliment the gentlemen who worked there, they were very professional, and had great hospitality. I will be eating here again, and next time I’m bringing the family!
