88 China

My first impression of 88 China is 5 stars. My order was wrong so I called to communicate the issue. The staff immediately apologized and delivered the correct order. That is excellent service. It’s not about being perfect for me it’s about listening and getting it right! Oh and my special fried rice and triple delight is tasty.

This was our go-to Chinese delivery place for years, but recently we've had a string of disappointments based on the declining food quality, mistakes on our order, and items that were simply not delivered. The last 2 times we ordered from here, we had missing items. We are thinking it's time to look for a new place.

I've eaten here a couple of times. Before my last visit I would say I absolutely adore the food and the prices are pretty much unbeatable. During my last visit (Tuesday) I ordered the beef in lobster sauce and there was a literal staple in my food that I bit and chewed on. While it's most likely a freak incident, it horrified me beyond any desire to eat here again.

I think I’ve been ordering from 88 for 6 years now and this place blows everywhere else out of the water. I’ve had $20 Chinese entrees in Chinatown out in San Fransisco and they didn’t come close to the consistency and overall value of this excellent restaurant. I’ve gotten nearly all of my coworkers hooked on their food and I have no regrets because I know its high quality and made to order by some really hardworking folks. The general tsos is my go to and the orange chicken is a close second. I’d eat here everday if I could. Egg rolls are superb as well. No complaints whatsoever other than some decent wait times when they are busy but that in itself speaks to the quality of service they have cemented in the minds of us over here off of Cave Springs.

This place has the WORST customer service! Online ordering - then they call you and say, “88 - China, what’s your credit card number” - When I questioned the call the gal on the other end got an attitude and hung up on me! Unacceptable! There are way better Chinese places - DO BETTER - TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT!!!
