Great BBQ, best I've had in St. Louis so far, tender, juicy, great smoke flavo
The food never disappoints. I had beef brisket, my husband had smoked turkey and our daughter had a Philly style cheese steak sandwich. We always have enough leftover for a second meal. We also had Mac and Cheese and Roasted Vegetables. Delicious!
We spent the weekend at a soccer tournament and visited with some friends from Kansas City. It was a nice cap to the weekend when we had lunch at the Sugar fire smokehouse. Everything was excellent. I had the smoked brisket and turkey with a side of baked beans and fries. Fantastic! Friendly staff and great food. If we come back to the St Charles area we would definitely make a stop here again.
This is my second time at Sugarfire and the first at this location. I ordered the salmon and the turkey with Mac and cheese and green beans as sides. The salmon was a little dry... Perhaps overcooked. The turkey has a good smoked flavor... But to dry as turkey can sometimes be. The Mac and cheese was actually better than I anticipated and the green beans were okay. Overall a decent meal.
It was great service. Everyone polite, and helpful. I had the brisket, well cooked, very tasty. And a boss burger, beef Patty, bacon, and beef tenderloin(medium rare which is a bit undercooked for my taste) I did remove that, and enjoyed the burger. A side of beans( alwayz good) and some potatoes with smoked chicken. Let's just say I was satisfied. I give them a thumbs up if you hungry !!!
My first time in the area. Looking for good BBQ. Found sugarfire and I am not disappointed, it has a great selection. Great pie and drink fountain that puts most to shame.
As always, the food was excellent. We were even lucky enough to get there at a less busy time. The people are great so don't be afraid to go in even if there is a long time. If you like fish, give their salmon a try. It has been amazing every time I've had it. Due to current circumstances they didn't have the full menu of awesome sauces, but the salmon is even better with their white sauce. All the spices are tasty, try more than one!
