While in St Louis, several people kept mentioning this thing called toasted ravioli. It seems that this is a St Louis thing. Who knew? A police officer that I spoke to recommended Fratelli's.
I tried to go several times but the place was crowded until Sunday when I finally caught a break and found a seat at the bar for dinner.
Persistence definitely paid off in this case because I had the best meal that I have had since my son grilled steaks for me.
The toasted ravioli with marinara was a total delight and the huge lasagna that they served was fantastic. You can tell that their meals use fresh ingredients and haven't been setting in a warmer all day.
The staff was very accommodating and friendly and ensure an enjoyable experience.
If you are ever in St Charles (just outside of St Louis) this is a place that you must try. I will be back next time I am in town.

First time visit. Solid lasagna and will fill you up. I'd say if you want to check this place out on a weekend, reservations would probably be necessary it's small and cozy and will fill up fast. I'll definitely be returning.

Hands down the ABSOLUTE BEST CARBONARA I HAVE EVER HAD! Please check this place out! The sauce so was creamy, rich and smooth! I could live on this dish!

I'm kinda picky when it comes to Italian food. I can say this a really great Italian restaurant, food was great, and service was great too! Definitely will be going back and trying the rest of the menu!

We fell in love with Fratelli's maybe 25 years ago. It was less expensive and cozier then but we knew by the yummy food & good service the word would get out. Today the food is just as great! The atmosphere has changed though, still relaxing but for us more of a special occasion destination.
