Smoothie King

Grossssssss! The one word that comes to mind after visiting here on 4/19/22 at 7:00 and tasting my smoothie. What a shame my family comes here literally everyday because the smoothies are always so good. I actually just wrote a review for the 5th St location because my family visited that one two days prior. The smoothie was delicious but I felt bad for not coming to our usual Cottleville spot. You would think as much business as we gave this location they would get it right. My family’s smoothie’s were made by a employee I’m guessing… I wasn’t sure because she was in a black and purple baseball uniform with Sunglasses on chatting it up with her buddy! Then we witnessed her tell other people they were out of several items we had ordered in our smoothies so not sure what subs they used but you could taste the difference especially since we are in here everyday ordering smoothies. Whelp I guess I’m glad our smoothies were good over on 5th Street because that’s who will be getting my money everyday from now on. I don’t have 20 bucks to throw away everyday and that’s how bad they were tonight we had to pitch them all!!!

This is at least the 3rd time I’ve been to this location, well after their posted opening time, and they’ve been closed. It’s very annoying when you drive 10 - 15 minutes expecting to get a smoothy and are met with closed store. Today I was there at 8:25 am, 25 minutes after the opening time, and there was nobody home. Giving them 2 stars because other than this I like the staff. I wish they had a drive up but the location just isn’t set up for it. UPDATE: Today I placed an order via the app for this location. The order went through fine, but the store was closed when I got there to pick it up. It was 7:45 am, 45 minutes after their open time! There are no signs on the door noting a change of hours. This is not the first time this has happened either (see my previous post). You guys lost an everyday smoothy customer. I want my money back - not a credit, an actual refund to my card.

I hate to do this, because I love smoothie King and the employees seem nice. I know they're having big issues with staffing. I feel like this also effects training. I've been here a couple times and they either give me the wrong smoothie or it tastes wrong. Its worth the extra drive time to just go to the one on Chesterfield Airport Rd. That location is by far the best in all of St. Louis.

I go to this place often and spend at least $45-50 each time and nothing is ever right you can tell these people 100 times how you want a simple smoothie made and it’s still not made the correct way. I was charged for sugar are you serious I was told that there isn’t a charge for sugar then the smoothies are always like water what’s the point really come on people. I order my smoothies and I ask for thick at this location and do I get it no I don’t I get a watery smoothies with nothing blended just hunks of who knows what if you want a good smoothie save yourself the hassle and stay away from the cottleville and mid rivers location because it’s terrible customer service and terrible smoothies go to the new town or Ofallon highway k locations they give you what you ask for now cottleville location good luck I’m still owed $4 that I’m trying to get back for being overcharged ask for manager never one there ask for owners info can’t give it out either so who’s left to talk to the people actually causing the problems so you will get no where at all

I had to fast before getting three teeth pulled, then the doctor ordered me to eat a lot immediately after, and it had to be something cold and mushy. They recommended cottage cheese or ice cream, or something like that consistency and temperature. Seeking something better for nutrition and being full, I went to Smoothie King and got a garden thrown in a blender and spoon fed myself forty ounces of their bliss-infused nectar. It was almost ten (freaking) dollars, but worth every penny considering the alternatives. I'd go there way more often if the prices were halved, though it is a joyous and rare indulgence.

Not so smooth. Took forever and the guy said he had to re-blend it because it was too thick. He blended it for 2 seconds and gave it to me. It’s supes chunky and has huge pieces of lettuce. Bummed out considering it’s an $8 smoothie. Suddenly realizing I shouldn’t pay $8 for a smoothie in the first place. Thank you, Smoothie King, for this revelation.
