We came here early on Friday night and it was pretty empty. The bartender was cool. He let us use some shaker cups to prop our phones so we could take videos haha. It's a chill spot for drinks. There's a couple of TVs, a lounge area, and regular seating at tables.
Came here on a Friday night. Place seems more for the college crowd. My buddy and I had to yell at each other just to hear what each other was saying (we were both hoarse the next day). With that being said, the music they did play was good. The bartender was attentive, but not interested in chatting. Prices were fantastic...after 3 shots of whiskey and 2 beers, my bill was only $38.
Yes this place is always busy and packed especially during a big game or a UFC fight so get there early. Pick any spot because they have multiple TVs. Even if they are busy, the awesome staff always gets your drinks right ❤️
If you’re like me who happens to love playing billiards, darts, skee ball, basketball hoops arcade, large jenga and many many more, then you will also love this place.

Great bartenders! They have great bar food! Recently remodeled - it’s a little smaller than before but there’s still plenty of room! Plus they play most fights & always have football! I go here for the drinks though!
As of 11/01/2023 REPUBLIC BAR AND GRILL IS CLOSED. Is was a good run with many good times and good friends made.Thank you everyone for making that happen. We will miss most of you and will never forget all of you.
I had the Chingona Fries with pulled pork with extra sour cream & no Pico de Gallo. Talk about a tasty treat after roller derby practice with my teammates, The Sacramento Roller Derby league. Thank you bartender and staff for a chill evening.

A great sports bar to hang out with a group of friends. They have pool tables, skeet ball, air hockey, and basketball to play with. They have a good selection of beer. It's pretty cheap to play with the games. About a $1.00 a game. I would definitely go back.
Great place to hang out. Great for big groups. Lots of TV for sports plus they have some arcade games. I would bring a sweater or jacket because it does get very cold in there because they have a big open door. Good food they are smaller appetizers.
Great spot. Pool tables, cornhole, air hockey, 3-player hoops, mega-jenga, outdoor seating. Went the night of 2/13/19. Brandon with the NASA shirt was, with zero exaggeration, one of the friendliest and most attentive bartenders I've ever been served by. Keep it up B!
Everyone who is @ Sacramento goes to this bar !! Awesome crowd, fun stuffs and lots of things to do.. Service is pretty much ups and downs due to large number of crowd !! You have to be bold and loud here...
