Excellent south Indian food. Idlis were soft. Vadas were crunchy and tasty, masala dosa was also good. Tomato chutney and Sambar were highlight. Sambar was spicy and hot, so good. Lassis (both regular & mango) were okay, not great.

Great dinner menu. I usually go for the lunch buffet, but was very pleased with ordering of if the menu for dinner. Their chicken makhani is my favorite. Great garlic naan, too.

So good! We've lived in the Arden area for 2 years and never tried this place until last night. We were craving Indian and this was the closest place. We were blown away by the menu, the smells, the flavors and the portions, wow! They are not stingy in any way! The food was great, nice ambiance, nice people! We'll definitely be going back!

It helps that I live just down the street, but this is my favorite Indian restaurant in Sac. Very reasonably priced lunch buffet with a great selection of fresh dishes. Chai tea and dessert included. Service is always ready with refills on water or to grab plates out your way, and they regularly refill dishes that are getting low so you never have to wait for your favorite. They change what they serve often enough that it never gets old either. Clean restaurant, well lit, comfortable spacing - just all around a great spot. Do yourself a favor and stop in sometime, you won't regret it.

An instant favorite! What better way to test a cook's skill than trying a variety of foods at a buffet? I don't generally like buffets, as they usually make their money from quantity, not quality. Their food is usually under heat lamps too long, their "service" is typically lifeless and minimal, and their food is usually mediocre and made with cheap, bland ingredients. This is the exception! Every single dish i tried was wonderful: the flavor was great, the food was rarely dry and when it was: it went well with their sauces or other more moist foods. Their drinks were delicious. Their prices are reasonable and fit the quality of the food. The place is small: allowing for a nice, intimate atmosphere without the noise of most buffets. The staff were considerate and helpful, happy to share their cultural dishes and support specific diets and interests, with plenty of vegetarian options. The decor and food is elegant and authentic, definitely not an American knock-off. Even if I didn't know the culture, you can tell when a restaurant is authentic when those from that culture being represented joyously attend. There were multiple Indian families enjoying the food. In fact, some of the time the attendance was either split equally; or we were in the minority as average Americans. I'm letting my late lunch get cold to share this with you, as I am passionate about doing so. This is our new Sacramento favorite, and I want to be sure that others enjoy it as well; both to share in that enjoyment, and make sure that it stays open for a long time to come. I highly recommend that you try their food, especially if you love trying foods from other cultures, as I do. It is one of the best restaurants I've ever had the Good Fortune to find, and perfect for dates or casual dinners. Enjoy!
