My first time here. Real nice looking spot. The guy that helped me was so friendly. So first off. Those beans!!! Made me say oh my god. So flavorful and spicy. I loved them. I came for the Mac cus it looked so good on IG. I know its hard to keep Mac fresh. It was still pretty good. That sauce was the perfect match to the brisket. Which was so smokey and delicious. Cooked so well. Made me feel like I was at a backyard BBQ with a wood grill.

Best brisket I've eaten in Sac. The sandwich had a generous portion of meat and their house BBQ sauce is an excellent balance between sweet and spicy. The apple slaw wasn't bad. It could use more color and flavor. The banana pudding is very good, but a bit overpriced for the portion received. I look forward to trying some of their other meat options!

I am SUPER PICKY when it comes to bbq food! But by far the best bbq I’ve had in a LONG time! The employees were both great! Friendly and professional. Clean and just so damn good from the food to the desert The pictures do it no Justice, I had to screenshot them off my video! But we will definitely be driving here from Modesto again!

I had the Dino bone plate today 7/30/23. Excellent Beef rib. I had the apple slaw and BBQ beans for the sides. Both were good. Personally I prefer the smoked potato salad or Mac and cheese. I've had their tri tip and brisket and they are both really good.

Very Good. Not much left! My husband had brisket and ribs. I had brisket and chicken. The portions are more than enough.

This is the best BBQ we have had in Sacramento. The meat is tender and flavorful! The portions are big, it can be a little pricey but they do kids eat free with every adult entrée which helps. The customer service is always fantastic!

I stopped in to what used to be Texas West. It was on a Monday, but I lucked out and they had beef ribs which are only done on Sundays. If you want real beef ribs, go on Sunday. The ribs were amazing

My kids and I love this place. The servings are big and seasoned well. We usually get a 3 meat and 2 side plate for 3 people. And they have koolaid!
