Best tasting beer I've ever had. The brewer has had years of expertise in brewing and the quality of the beer is superb.

We came here for an office Christmas holiday get together on a Friday (12/1) evening. It’s my first time at Alaro. Passed by it hundreds of times between the office and home but never stepped foot inside. Reservations for 13 had to be done over the phone with the manager. Open Table has a limit of I believe 6 seats. Any more requires a phone call. Not a problem. Our reservation was for 3pm. Our table was ready upon arrival with a nice little “reserved” tag. Pretty cool. The place is clean, charming, and inviting and feels like a brewery with a number of tanks behind glass windows that you can see. Very fitting. We started out with drinks; instead of beer, we ordered their holiday special which was essentially their El Corazon Margarita - a drink made with reposado tequila with blood orange, passion fruit, pomegranate, and tajin salted rim. I’m a big fan of margaritas and this one was not too shabby. Pretty yummy… a 4.5/5.. Our server was fantastic. I didn’t get his name but very cool dude. He was tentative to us but not overwhelming and took good care of us. Service was a solid 5/5. Upon placing our order, it took maybe 10-15 minutes for our food to arrive hot from the kitchen. A number of us went with the fish tacos. Others went with the veggie burger, the octopus, and grilled cheese. The presentation of the food was neat and well put together deserving a 5/5. The taste however fell short of expectation. The fish tacos were underwhelming, lacking flavor and taste compared to other fish tacos at other eateries. This one was probably a 3/5 at best. When surveyed, folks said similar of their own dish. The one dish that did turn out very well was the octopus which was amazing. It was absolutely delicious, a 5/5. We stayed there a few hours, chatting, laughing, and enjoying the evening together. The place was never overly crowded as patrons came and went for a Friday evening. The place offered us a good dining experience with a value to price ratio of probably a 4/5. To sum it up, Alaro Craft Brewery offers a unique dining experience a little different from other eateries in the area. Their menu offer items not too common which is neat. The ambiance in the evening is inviting and warm. I would definitely recommend folks give this place a try if you’re in the area. I would just avoid the fish tacos and try some other items on the menu. If you find this review helpful, give the thumbs up tap below!!

We chose + enjoyed this establishment as my first dining experience in Sacramento in 35 years. The four of were treated well by our waitress, Lyric. A hint to any server that gets asked to take a photo of your party...do it. I would say you get an added 10% tip. Lyric took 4 different angle shots of us. We loved them all. We made sure she knew we appreciated the WHOLE package of service.

Pleasantly surprised to have eaten here. Dog friendly the back patio was nice and cool. They brought water for our pup. BUT THE FOOD. Let me tell you. You need to get Hogs and Rocks. Take that bread and soak up the sauce and you’ll never want for anything again. The esquites as amazing and fresh. The burger was fantastic. Beer was great, even got a free one. Shout out to the landlord 👌🏾. Def going back.

The special for the day was salmon and it was delicious. Smooth like butter! The grilled octopus was also flavorful and grilled to perfection. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Great ambiance as well.

My girlfriend and I just happen to be driving by and decided it looked like a nice spot to stop. This is a bar but it feels like an ice balance of restaurant space vs the bar vibes. The service was great as well as the hostess, everyone was very friendly infact - I didn’t feel like I was in a typical bar at all. I was really impressed by the food because I feel like at bars it can get dicey but the menu felt like it had love and attention when it was made. The salad is perfect, the rest was fresh and far above average for bar food! Best part, they had gluten free options (specifically fried pickles) which I would come back for those on their own. Definitely a pleasant night out, thank you!

We really enjoyed Alaro's brunch! Tremendous selection of beverages above and beyond beer offerings. The bloody Mary was top notch delicious and the Chery Bomb was a refreshing non-alcoholic treat. The food was excellent, can't wait to try the lunch and dinner menus! Service was friendly and very accommodating , will definitely visit again soon!

The food was really good and the portions were nice. They do offer chicken tenders and grilled cheese for kids. The tequila went down smooth. The beer options were decent, just not a lot of options for my preferences. The mimosas were okay; the fruit flavors weren't that strong. Service was pretty slow for only being 1 of 2 tables there, but the staff were very friendly. There's plenty of parking available. Overall, the place was nice.

What a great place to eat!! The food is exceptional. You may go for the drinks, but make sure you stay for the food. The appetizers were fantastic to start, everything we ordered was delicious and perfectly prepared. There's a good variety of plates to choose from across the menu.
