One of my favorite places in the whole world. The freshest seafood, an ocean view, reasonable prices, and decades of family memories here.
Always a good time with great food! There is nothing better than a whale watch followed up by dinner at Rays :-)
Went Friday night, great BEST chowder on the beach, great fried clams and scallops..love this place!
Great scallops. Great service. Beautiful view! Baked scallops were excellent and there were a lot of them. Had the lobster stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer - delicious!
The Crab Cakes were done well and fried up right. You could really taste the crab meat and it wasn’t over whelming. They were served as 2 cakes and they were big. This could almost be a lunch. The Lobster roll was good as well, it had just enough Lobster meat in it to get the taste but we would have preferred it warmed up then cold.
Perfect place for seafood, great view to accompany the baked stuffed haddock and a few beers. Right across the street from the beach and well worth the drive from Nashua, will definitely return to Ray’s. Make sure to get an upstairs table facing the ocean, you won’t regret it.
Enjoy the Dragonfruit Mohittos. Great place to see the ocean. Great portions. Love the tarter sauce and homemade onion rings. I usually get the shrimp. A place to partake in great food and drinks. I frequent Ray's and food is always consistent. The staff is very competent and friendly!
I have been here twice and both the service and the food have been amazing each time. This most recent time, we had the lobster bisque, fried calamari, lobster-stuffed baked haddock and a fried seafood platter. ALL of it was exceptional, and our server Melissa was quick, personable, and attentive. The house Paloma and bloody Mary were also delicious. 11/10 will feast here again!
OMG, seriously the best, freshest old fashioned clam strip roll I've ever had. Homemade tartar sauce, yum. Eyeballing someone's lobster roll that looked delish too. Definitely coming back! Directly on ocean.
Ray’s seafood chowder is the best. And I’d eat 100 crab cakes with red pepper jelly. And we love our waitress Mel. Please keep a good supply of draft IPA like Smuttynose Finest Kind.
Stopped in and had a delicious impromptu family meal on a beautiful September Saturday. Great service from Mel. We sat upstairs in the enclosed restaurant with a window view. Ray's is casual, with fun energy from the staff and a wide seafood selection menu. If you crave lobster 🦞, you need to go. We enjoyed lobster stuffed mushrooms, 5 half lobster tails, calamari and baked scallops.. The "pain killer" cocktail is yummy and reminds upstairs of the beach. Eat in the restaurant, on the balcony or order at the outside window and sit at the covered tables next to the inlet. You won't be disappointed. We parked along the street and watched the tide and crashing waves afterwards.
Great experience. We walked in with 9 people and ordered $210.00 worth of food. Rearranged the tables to fit our big group and have an awesome dinner. The staff couldn't have been nicer and we didn't even wait that long for our food. Everyone left satisfied and full. We will defenitely be coming back again, and this time we will get 2 dozen oysters. So delicious!!!
