Denny's

I just want to say something positive about our server at Denny’s today. A ton of us walked in at once and sort of staggered in, in the middle of a Saturday. (Plus there were at least 2 additional tables in the section we were sitting in &, I don’t know if her section extended past the entrance.) When I tell you our server was hustling, I mean it. - This woman was everywhere, dropping off all the food, communicating in the kitchen what have you. (Just how they are talking in the kitchen and how It smells in here - you already know the food is going to be good.) Honestly, I’m leaving this review before I’ve even ordered. I know we aren’t an easy group over all but, ma’am I just want to say you're an incredible server! (and then we found out you were training someone at the same time??) You really we’re doing it all. Goodness! Just want to say: Thank You, Candy for doing your absolute best and rocking it out!

On entering, we were greeted by a sign which was apologetic for the quality of their service since they were short of staff. In spite of this we were seated promptly. Our beverage orders were taken promptly and served promptly as well. Our food took a little while longer, but it was probably not as long as it seemed since we were both pretty hungry. Our server, Marrisa, was quite attentive. If we find ourselves passing through here while hungry again, we will have to make it a point to stop in here again.

I should of been suspicious when I saw my 5 top (guests) was the only party there, for a weekend morning. ....But... I've never been disappointed at a Denny's....NEVER ! Sure I've been irritated at times, but never disappointed ! This location has some issues to work on.... especially when an order is for "well done" and comes to you mid rare looking. Worth a mention, is the booth we sat at .....the damn bench seating is old and very worn out....our particular seat had butt impressions...meaning someone either broke the springs sitting or the damn seat needs updating... I don't know who owns this spot ..BUT GET IT TOGETHER

Came to the battleboro 4 months ago and food was great and service was awesome.. So in traveling through the area again my daughter wanted to stop and have a great experience. Well I'm here to tell you it was anything but a great experience... An hour to get our food. And management could only say she was short staffed..lile it was our fault.

I came here on a 15 hour trip to Georgia in hopes that I would get my food in a timely manner and would be able to continue traveling without wasting an absurd amount of time. Unfortunately I didn’t. I don’t think I have ever been to a restaurant with this poorly of service. My family and I order a small amount of food after 5 minutes of being seated. I can’t give a review on the food because after 50 minutes of waiting it never came. We left Dennys due to the time wasted and the loss of appetite. I was reminded by one of my family members that they do have a sign out front reading “short staff,” but with the time being 8:30am on a Tuesday with a small amount costumers it should not take an hour to cook 2 plain pancakes. If you were considering getting a job a this Dennys, I wouldn’t. The staff have no urgency whatsoever working at the slowest pace possible. I really do hope that if you come to this restaurant you will have a somewhat better experience than I did.
