I didn’t even order anything from Popeyes, but my friend ordered a strawberry biscuit and it was truly life changing. I had an out of body experience. I busted all over the seat. Embarrassed myself in front of the whole food court. I left with no dignity, but I left satisfied. Thank you Rockaway Mall Popeyes. You put the ROCK in rockaway.

I like this location because the food seems to be fresher than others.
Of all fast food chains I’ve tried, their Chicken Sandwich is the most real with a flaky buttermilk fried chicken breast, pickle chips, and mayo or their “spicy” (not that spicy) Cajun sauce on a buttery brioche bun. I also enjoy their lemonade which isn’t too sweet and also tastes real! You might have to wait a minute for your order but it’s worth it.
NOTES/TIPS:
**Not busy with no lines or a really short line, but you do have to park and get out of your car. It’s on the left side of the food court which is right at the entrance of the mall.
**Wheelchair accessible restrooms directly across on the other side of the food court.
I got an 11 piece chicken fingers meal and let me tell you ... I CANNOT eat this much chicken. I was so sure that I could but I lost. It's alot of chicken and it's so good. All of their sauces are really good especially the blackened ranch. Honestly they should just start selling tubs of their sauces. They would make so much money. 5 stars.
We tried the chicken sandwiches...both the classic and spicy(mildly spicy) were delicious. Crunchy, tasty coating and the chicken was moist and tender. Yum!! The roll was extra good with a bit of mayo and a couple pickles to add to the flavor. Go try one!!
I like to go here a lot, I always order and receive my food fresh, I really like the service that the employee in this town gives me, I always order the spicy chicken and fries, all very delicious
It’s cleaner then most Popeyes, the food was fresh and the order was accurate
The fried chicken was very tasty, closest you can get to eating southern fried chicken in NJ. I find it very enjoyable. I liked the thigh piece the most; both regular and spicy are very good.
I have no idea why chick fil a is still in business with Popeyes existing. The chicken sandwich is the absolute best chicken sandwich on the market.
