Caffe Navona

I've been here so many times it's a wonder I haven't reviewed it sooner. The lasagna is to die for so I do get that maybe 50% of the time but I've had a few other things as well. I think the one thing that really lets you know this place is great is the vegetables are always cooked and seasoned perfectly. Every. Single. Time. I feel like that's hard to do with consistency.

Perfect EVERY Time! We've been going to Caffe NaVona since the summer of 2020. Most times we go when there is not only Caffe NaVona's fabulous food, but also music by friends, esp Grover and Cardon. We have tried many dishes from salads, sandwiches, pizza, to regular dinner menu mainstays and specials. Everything has always been outstanding, so when my husband asked me where I wanted to go for our 20th anniversary, this was the answer. That night we had blood orange manhattans to start, then the special arancini, he had the crab cakes, I had the seared tuna and we shared the key lime pie. Grover was playing, another friend showed up in time for coffee and dessert, and it couldn't have been a better celebration.

This place is a must try. I definitely felt under dressed coming in and glad I came in during off peak hours. The staff was very welcoming and did a great job making me feel comfortable. The food here is absolute exquisite. You must try the eggplant fritters and finish the remaining sauce with the bread they offer. I never knew eggplant could be so delicious. I could have ordered three more orders of it. Each order brings four pieces. I also had the she crab soup and the chicken parmigiana over Angel hair. Everything I tried was delicious and very good. You have to come here and try the eggplant fritters they really stole the show!

Whenever I dine at Cafe NaVona, I am treated like royalty, greeted by my first name, and immediately attended to with a friendly staff. Marco, the owner, always makes me feel like I am right at home. The cuisine is always beautifully presented and intrigues your palate before you begin eating. The desserts are always delicious. Cafe NaVona is definitely one of my favorite places to dine. I love Marco & his staff! Whenever I have a closing on a home, I celebrate by treating my clients to dinner there!
