Wise Guys Diner

Pretty dang tasty! The hash browns were the best I have had lately, the flavor was PERFECT. The food came out hot and excellent, I will def be back to try the captain crunch French toast. My only meh about the place is that they charge extra (4%) if you pay with a card, and their atm is currently broken.

Can never say enough about this place the owners are just awesome and the service is the best they always greet you with a smile the waitress there it's just unbelievable and so kind always greets us with the smile. You hadn't been there in a while because of covid but will slowly but surely working our way back to wiseguys it is relaxing and food is comforting, sometimes we go there to eat a late breakfast and then we come home and just snooze. My husband Enzo loves the steak and hash browns with over easy eggs and toast the coffee is delicious they are always making sure that your coffee cup is filled. I love my over easy eggs and home fries with some bacon on the side and my cup of coffee and my rye toast. Love all the designs on the wall of the rat pack and ganster portraits like the Godfather movie , Casino movie and Scarface plus others they are nice photos to look at while you are waiting for your breakfast brunch or meal. My son moved up to the north side of rochester, we needed to find a good diner to go to for brunch, used to always go to Jay's diner in Henrietta. Found this place on Yelp thought I would give it a try. It's smaller than Jays, but I think the food is just as good. They even have some more upscale menu items that look pretty good, I did not get a chance to try them. Our table ordered scrambled eggs buttermilk pancakes sausage and bacon. I thought the eggs had really good flavor and I thought the pancakes were pretty nice, maybe not as fluffy as a pancake house, but they were pretty good. My only complaint, I thought the bacon was too floppy and not crisp. Given that it's about 5 minutes from my son's house, I suspect we'll be going there more. Give it a try, I think you'll like it.
