The owner is truly black girl magic ✨ She aims to please and is so sweet and humble. I enjoy speaking with her she’s accomplished so much and is a huge staple in the neighborhood. I don’t eat macaroni and cheese but I do from here lol my absolute favorite and recommend every single person to try the jerk chicken salad and her sauce is phenomenal chefs kiss!!!

Delicious jerk chicken, mac and cheese and cabbage! The BEST collard greens! The owner, Van, is very nice and helpful. Great, quick service and large portions. Good for the soul!

We ordered takeout last week from People’s Choice and it was incredible. The jerk chicken was tender and flavorful, and they were running low on shrimp so offered to make a combo curry shrimp and salmon which was fantastic. All the sides we tried were delicious—it’s hard to pick a favorite, but the collard greens were by far the best I’ve ever eaten. Portions were HUGE but we still managed to try the banana pudding for dessert. Definitely the right choice, it was just as good as the rest of the meal. We will definitely be back for pickup or dine-in once that’s reopened!

The food here was amazing, great flavors and super juicy. The owner is super friendly and is apparently a pillar in the community as the key to the city she received from the mayor is displayed on the wall.

I could eat here everyday! My favorite is the Jerk chicken/rice, baked mac & cheese, and cabbage- its so delicious! And she stays blessing the community and myself almost everytime I go in 🙌 I cant say it enough. The best caribbean/soul food in the 585 💙‼️

What a wonderful little Gem here in the city of Rochester. AUTHENTIC Caribbean style food at a VERY decent price. I felt like I went to my moms house and I was catered to. Nice Job guys! I’ll be back here.

Lovely little restaurant. The owner was at the front. Didnt know what to get so she suggested the $5 Jerk meal. Very good and the sauce that she had was amazing. You got to make sure to get that on your chicken.

Tried it out for the first time while on Business in Rochester. 3 min drive from the airport. Awesome staff, very courteous and friendly. Two thumbs up regarding the wings with jerk sauce and mac and cheese. Greens were to die for, best I've had.
