Jon made our most recent experience of many at Fifth Frame the best! Unsure of if there was anything on tap that suited our interests, Jon carefully listened to our interests and selected a can pour (off menu) that he thought we would like. We ended up buying some to take home! He was genuinely interested in what we were saying in conversation & genuinely interesting to talk to…a rarity these days! Thanks for the great time!

Classy bowling themed brewery. Nick was great and the other staff was friendly at the end but not in the mood when we first got there. Food was surprisingly good and not bowling alley food but classy restaurant style.

Always a good time here. Beer awesome, food really great ( one of the best burgers in Rochester) really nice attentive staff. Even though it was a little busy server, Stephanie greeted everyone that walked in and we didn’t wait long for anything. Only recommendation is to have the bath bomb - mango canned ! It’s the best!

The staff was very knowledgeable and attentive. Paul was an excellent host and made us feel right at home. The venue was very welcoming & the atmosphere was great. The other patrons were very considerate & friendly. The parking situation was a little hectic but that's to be expected in the city. Large variety of beer styles on tap and to go when we visited. Was not a huge fan of the poutine dish we had, however we didn't go there for food ;D Their Untappd scores do not do them justice, and should definitely be higher. The only thing I can think of is that perhaps being in close proximity to Genesee brewing they might get alot of patrons that might not appreciated the craft beer slushie fruit movement?? We will definitely go back in the future to sample more delicious beers. Cheers!

As a sour enthusiast, I have been exploring sour beers in the country through Tavour. This place has the best sour that I have had. Most breweries add lactose (milk sugar) to the sour for additional smoothness and sweetness. Yet lactose leaves a funny, unpleasant, plumy aftertaste. The sour here doesn't have lactose so that whatever your palate experiences fully comes from fruit and yeast. I tried all the sour on tap and they were either outstanding or unbelievable: balanced and complex. I will order regularly if they ship.

Some great beers some of the best pastry stouts I've had. Better than what Funky Budha can offer. The bath bomb series were all great as well. Slightly tart fruit smoothie is how I'd describe them, bit not too sweet at all.

Super cool place with unique beer selections! Food menu is not huge, but it is pretty varied and all the dishes were fantastic. We only stopped in for brunch, so I'm not sure if the menu is different for lunch and dinner, But everything we tried was top notch. I can't wait to go back and try the other beers I didn't have room for this first pass 😁

Fun concept of coffee house and brewery! I enjoyed a delicious hot chocolate while we also tasted a wide range of beers (a lot with coffee in them). Thoroughly enjoyed the natural light, friendly service, too.

Friendly, attentive staff. Lots of interesting beer options that are well brewed with few issues. The Queen B with shredded chicken & kimchi was solid. Chicken wasn't dry at all, the bun was surprisingly stellar, and the heat level of the kimchi was perfect. This place is doing all the things right. (They even allow outside bottle shares). I'm excited to see where this place is going. Did I mention that they have coffee and they roast their own beans?

Fifth Frame opened in October 2017 with food and their own coffee, and started serving their craft brewed beer in December 2017. For a place so new, they definitely have their act together. My wife and I started with a Café Mocha and I have to say it was one of the best in my life. One of the secrets is their use of chocolate ganache from a local baker. This so beats the syrup that is typically used, or even a high-quality powder. The latte art on top was also well done and added to the presentation. I could have sat here drinking a few of these and been very happy. Food was darn good. I had the bean burger and was equally impressed. Again, it was one of the best I ever had. My wife had one of the omelet sandwiches and was equally impressed. You must try the carrot and potato hash. It was more of a home fry than a hash, but it was absolutely delicious and enough for two to share. Biscuits and cinna. On butter were outstanding. My table split a piece of "birthday cake" for dessert. This expertly made treat was two layers of very moist and dense chocolate cake, separated by a coffee buttercream (or so I think), covered by white icing and a layer of ganache. Oh my...this was amazing. Overall, the menu was small and somewhat limited, but everything was high-quality and well prepared. I can't wait to see how it is expanded over time. For coffee, they had a single-farm Guatemalan today which was excellent. So many subtle and complex flavor notes. Really good. They also offer cold brew, I believe on nitro too. We got to taste a few of their beers as well. They offer many unique styles including a Kentucky Common and a Rye Pilsner. Everything we tried was very well made. I can't wait to come back and tip back a few pints. I spoke at length with Wade, one of the partners. His knowledge of food science, brewing and roasting is deep and impressive. This knowledge really shows up in Fifth Frames products. Make your way down here. This place is worth it!
