Salvatore's Old Fashioned Pizzeria

Pizza was thick crusted, well topped and fresh. If you are looking for NY style thin crust this isn't the place, but if you are looking for big filling slices it's well priced, fast and delicious! The place itself seemed lackluster as a restaurant. If you just care about the taste of the food though you can't go wrong.

Food: really, really good. We just moved here from WA. state, saw the ad on TV for Veterans day pizza's. Being retired after 20+ yrs I thought, great way to test out a NEW place to eat, and quality. Very first time at Salvatore's. Ok, it was a free pizza, thin crust, one topping... Very good, hot, and customer service OUTSTANDING! I honestly don't know if this particular place was a "eat-in" or just "take out". Because of Veterans day, there were about 10-15 waiting at the front for their pizza's, so I couldn't see to the back or even past the front area for waiting. The wife and I will be going back to this place (on a not-so-busy (hopefully) day to try other items on the menu.... For this particular visit 5*'s....overall.

The pizza was great! ESP. Being close to lunch time but I was able to get two huge slices of the breakfast pizza. With egg, green peppers, cheese, and sausage. It was an omelet on a pizza! I also bought two exceptionally moist apple fritters that where fried to perfection. Definitely going back when I'm in the area again.

It wasn't a bad experience. My food that I ordered seemed to take a while even though a staff member saw I was waiting. I told her my order and she said someone would bring it out to my curbside pickup spot. Some minutes go by and a returning delivery driver asked me if I let someone know I was waiting I said someone was aware. Someone did bring my food out to me ( it may have been the initial employee). Not a bad experience, they were just busy, and I was patient.
