I got the recommendation to contact Sweet Fix from the bakery we had previously put a deposit down with, Fat Rabbit, bc they said the design I wanted would have to be fondant & they don't work with fondant. When speaking with Sweet Fix, they said they could do it without making it out of fondant even! So I was already impressed. We had a tasting that we got to bring home & of course we loved ALL the flavors, but settled on champagne-flavored cake w/ vanilla bean icing. Simple, yet still so delicious & something everyone will love! They did! I also got my then-fiancé cupcakes for his birthday from this same bakery. Definitely return customers here (:

Amanda was the sweetest to work with and really worked with us to craft the perfect menu for our guests. We had a wedding cake, cookie cake (grooms cake), 3 different flavors of macaroons and cannolis. The macaroons were possibly the best I have ever had and were demolished. Our dessert table was so freaking cute. Would highly recommend using Sweet Fix. Delicious, sweet treats, gorgeous design, affordable, great customer service and amazing talent behind the scenes!
Sweet Fix made an awesome cake for our wedding just as we wanted. Yes, Sweet Fix made a SPAM can for our wedding cake topper. The can was cake too! Sweet Fix was very accommodating, we moved our wedding date 3 times because of Covid and we added more cake to the order as well. That's Maggie, the cake designer standing next to the cake in the photo and a photo of the cake at the reception. TIP: Order more cake than you need. Your guests are gonna love it and you'll want more for yourself!
Sweet Fix baked our wedding cake - an Earl Grey flavored cake with Blackberry buttercream - it was SO delicious and looked amazing!

We are so pleased to have chosen Sweet Fix to create the cake for our wedding! Not only was the owner Amanda very personable, communicative, and easy to work with, the cake itself looked beautiful and tasted amazing. We wanted something simple and elegant in appearance, to allow for our florist to decorate with the same florals we used throughout the venue - the end result was perfect and exactly what we had in mind. We also appreciated the extensive flavor options, as well as the ability to set up multiple take-home tastings after the initial meeting at the bakery.
One last note - we originally had our wedding scheduled for April 2020, which had to be postponed due to COVID. Amanda was so understanding and flexible - she worked with us and our event coordinator to accommodate our new date without any issues. We are so grateful to have worked with such a fantastic team of vendors - we 100% recommend Sweet Fix, not only for the delicious/beautiful cake, but for the professionalism!
Working with Sweet Fix was such a great choice for our wedding. First and foremost, the cake was absolutely delicious. We had an earl gray cake with lavender honey frosting, and an almond cake with orange Grand Marnier frosting - they were incredible. The design was gorgeous! They also sculpted our cat to use as a cake topper... it was just incredible. I wish I had a piece of it to eat right now.
Sweet Fix did an incredible job with the desserts for our wedding! They were easy to communicate with, flexible with so many changes related to COVID, and very reasonably priced. They were able to accommodate everything we asked for with flavors and dessert variety. They even made the macaroons with our wedding colors! We were impressed with how lovely they set up the table at the wedding and how wonderful everything tasted. We would go there any day for a sweet treat and would certainly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding around Richmond!
Sweet Fix has consistently done very well artistically and taste wise regarding the custom cakes we’ve ordered. They are great with communicating throughout the whole way. Would certainly recommend for specialty baking desserts!
