Good food, good service, it reminded me of El Salvador, the first Latin restaurant that I feel at home is very nice, the next time I go to that area I will return..

I am sadly disappointed in this place. A few weeks ago I went to eat here and I found a hair in my food. I complained and did not have to pay for the meal. I came back today to order some food to go so I had a chance to take a quick pick at the kitchen and pointed out to the owner of the business that this place was better when the people in the kitchen used to wear hair nets and that to see them working in the kitchen with such carelessness today (no gloves or hair nets)it was disappointing. She pointed out that the kitchen workers refused to wear hear nets and that there is nothing she could do about it and that she wasn't going to bother with it. I politely expressed my frustration. I ordered a breakfast to go and as I was eating it I found a piece of a toothpick (or peace of a wooden spoon) in the casamiento (rice & beans mix) as shown in the picture (case in point). This peace of wood has absolutely NO place in the casamiento for God's sake! Having been a loyal client to this place for many years I can say it used to be the difference in the community as far as quality and service and now its just heart breaking a below average spot, poor at best. The quality of the food and service has dramatically declined to poor conditions.

The food here is delicious. It’s one of my family’s favorite places to get pupusas and other salvadorean food. The prices are decent and the serving sizes are generous. They also give you plenty of curtido and salsa so you don’t have to keep asking. The baby high chairs are very clean which is a plus. We had no issues having our daughter sit in one of them. Last Friday we went and decided to dine in for the first time since COVID started and we had a different experience. The food was still great however they had a live performer that was really loud. We couldn’t talk to each other because it was so loud we couldn’t hear each other. We had to basically yell so our server could understand what we wanted to order. Not only was this performer loud, she was vulgar. I don’t think I was prepared to hear so many curse words every other word during what was supposed to be a family dinner. It was 7pm! The friend of the lady singing came around asking for money to support the lady since she was recently unemployed. If that’s the case, they should’ve given her a job working at the restaurant. That would’ve been more productive and less painful for us. We would’ve taken our food to go like we usually do but we wanted to enjoy our pupusas while they were still hot and our baby was starting to get hangry. If you want to avoid the experience we had don’t go Friday, Saturday and Sunday after 7pm. Lesson learned!

I had a horrible experience today! Aside from what i have hear, that waitress will charge more if you don't check your recipe! I was still happy with the food.. But today I think it was just a nightmare.. I walked in the table where i sat was dirty.. I cleaned it okay! Everything was fine... Then I ask for a refresco but forgot to tell the waitress that I wanted my drink with no ice... So I go tell her and find her with two finger trying to get something out of my drink... I was like Oh no!!!!!! Therefore, I left immediately!!!🤢🤢🤢🤢 and give a negative response ... I'm sorry but wowwwww

It was an experience in how bad you can be served. The waitresses from the start ordering drinks was not being very friendly. Then it just went downhill from there. She would not explain the menu, we are not salvadoreños. So she left and took a long time to come back. Things just got worse, as drinks were coming in one by one, at random intervals. She never refilled the coffee or water, then the appetizer came at the end of the meal. In all the food was good and large portions, the ambience was good with music. But the service was horrible and you can tell by the looking at the other tables, the customers are looking all over for waiters to pick up the plates. The waitress did not pick up the plates until we asked for the check or a To-go box. Remember that the plates are huge and portions are very big. So you have a table that gets crowded with 2-3 plates. I don't know if we're at a bad time and everyone walked in after us. But for sure, other reviews mention bad service and long wait time.

Food is great, tastes home made. Best pupusas I have tasted so far. They didn't taste like at other places where they add flour to keep pupusas from falling apart .. Service is a bit slow. It seems you just seat wherever you want. No hostess or signed posted to let you know to seat yourself.

Their Sopa De Pata is delicious! My favorite item on the menu. This is usually the only reason we come here. Pupusa’s are pretty good as well. We dined in a few weeks ago, and since everything we’ve ordered in the past was delicious I decided to order something different. I ordered the shrimp cocktail. It came out fast enough, but it was terrible. It was way too much vinegar in there and the shrimp tasted old. Soup is superb, but I’ll probably stick to what I know is good. Lesson learned. UPDATE: We went to eat there again, dine in, and atmosphere was great. It was a Saturday and they karaoke, and this time I knew not to order the shrimp cocktail. Instead I got the shrimp plate 😂 came with salad, veggies, frijoles, and tortilla. The shrimp cooked was 🔥🔥! Ordered a michelada as well, and it washed everything down very well. The waitress was very attentive as well and took good care of us. Back to 5 stars you go!
