Nice clean comfy atmosphere with a cute small bar and some patio seating as well. People are really nice and attentive. The cocktails are delicious. I’ve been many times. Love the nachos, everything board and the Rueben. Everything is fresh and hot when it comes out. My favorite (not pictured) were the oyster mushroom tacos but they stopped offering those. Lots of other delicious options. Give Yummvees a try

The way they cook their tofu is phenomenal! Staff is always very friendly, one of my favorite places to go! Food is always delicious, my favorite two things to get are the nachos and the southern fied steak. Pictured is the breakfast scrambler, biscuits and gravy, and chicken and waffles(Brunch only) and then the southern fried steak and tacos. I don't have a pic of the Mac n cheese but it is also one of my favorites. Per person is about 15-25 each, depending on if you get an appetizer. Will definitely be coming back

My partner and I had the pleasure of visiting on Mother's Day. We were so excited to visit after looking up the menu and reading a little about their journey! They were slammed and on a wait when we got there but this was to be expected given the holiday. We were able to order drinks at the bar while waiting and actually decided just to sit there. Mark was amazing and made us laugh even though he was very busy making drinks behind the bar. Our food was delicious and we cannot wait to go back the next time we are in the area!! You all are amazing and we sincerely appreciate you creating such an inviting space to share great culinary talent with the world! Great job to the whole team...front and back!

What a great experience. Totally plant based menu coinciding with my healthier choice habits of 2023. We split a Bacon Burger and hand cut fries dish, and the Santa Fé Ranch Salad. Both great choices! Our waiter was exceptional. Extremely clean and inviting atmosphere, well worth a few extra minutes of wait time for a delicious order.

I’ve been to Yumvees for brunch, lunch, dinner, and dessert now and they knock it out of the park every. single. time. The food is high quality and made with so much care. They also serve large portions so you won’t leave hungry. The non-vegan people I bring here enjoy it just as much as I do as a vegan, too! They have the kindest, most attentive staff and the restaurant is very clean with a great atmosphere. Don’t miss out on one of the finest dining experiences Richmond has to offer!

I’ve dined in and I’ve done carry out. Each experience has been phenomenal. What I especially like about my carry-out experience is how well my food gets packed. For instance if there’s something that might get soggy if it was all combined together they package it separately and I really appreciate that. Also if you ever see that they have cake available for dessert you have to get it. Seriously the best cake I’ve had in a long time.

We tried out this vegan place (we're not vegan) for my birthday and it didn't disappoint. Rolled in around 5:30, so seating wasn't a problem. They have both indoor and outdoor and do take reservations (probably needed if we'd eaten later around the busy time). Holly was our very sweet and gracious server. She gave us insight into some of the food we weren't sure about and was the perfect amount of attentive. We ended up getting the crab cake sandwich, Italian sausage sandwich (both with shoestring fries) and a side of butternut squash Mac and cheese. Everything was excellent! I don't know what the crab actually was, but it was good 😅 I'll keep enjoying the vegan sorcery when I go back. I even enjoyed the lemon curd cake for a birthday treat - got sung to and everything ❤️ Thanks, Yummvees, for a fun birthday dinner. I'll definitely be back.

The owner knows how to create a wonderful dining experience. Thoroughly enjoyed our time even though it was cut short because of our children back home. Delicious Reuben that I felt uncomfortable eating because it tasted so much like real meat. Iceberg wedge was so refreshing and the blue cheese substitute was a nice touch in addition to the smoky bacon and croutons. Also I hope they start selling their cucumbers because they are so refreshing a delicious with their marination. Ask about the stories behind each drink and you will learn some lovely things about this family owned restaurant. Definitely earned my repeat business and as a vegan this will be a RVA staple.

The food was absolutely incredible! I wish I lived in Richmond so I could eat here every week. The prices were great for what you get, too. I went with friends and we all ended up getting the chicken parmesan and were so pleased with our choice. Definitely recommend checking this place out! The service was great, too!

I finally got over to Yumvees which has been on my list for a while to try. The food is amazing! This is an all vegan restaurant, meaning that every single item is vegan safe. I'm not vegan myself but I do like a lot of vegan food because it's usually pretty healthy stuff using lots of vegetables. If you have been curious to try some vegan cuisine, this is definitely a great place for a first time because everything is tasty and you don't miss meat or dairy based cheese at all in any of the dishes. I went with a friend and we got a bunch of dishes to try (and then I ordered way too much takeout to take home to my husband). The tostadas were crisp and well seasoned, the cheese, fruit and vegetable plate was fun and a delicious variety of items including a nut cheese, spicy jam and hummus so you could make your own combinations of flavors, the egg rolls (use both the apple and sour cream - trust me I know it sounds weird but it works beautifully), and the butternut mac and cheese which tasted like fall on your spoon. I got so wrapped up in the food that I forgot to take more pictures. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Tracy, who is delightful and a very cool person. You can tell that she puts a lot of love into the business and what comes out to your table. Oh and always ask about the desserts because they are not on the menu and can change often - tonight was pineapple upside-down cake and a pumpkin chocolate chip cake.
