Bombolini Pasta

A true Richmond gem! The staff is absolutely delightful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The fresh pasta, subs, and small batch spirits are amazing. The frozen lasagna, ravioli, and cannelloni offerings are always a wonderful treat after a long day when I want something homemade but don’t want to cook something from scratch. They are a pick-up location for Creambrook Farms raw milk share (how I found out about this amazing spot). Don’t miss out on their house smoked salmon, signature cocktails, or small but well curated beer and wine selections either!

NOTE: Bombolini no longer does dine in or any sort of hot food service. They used to, but have stopped since the pandemic. This review is solely about their homemade pasta products, available for purchase at the store. We've been a fan of Bombolini pasta since seeing them at the RVA Big Market, so we decided to visit the actual store. It's neat being in the store, because as opposed to the precut and pre-packaged noodles, when you order pasta here, they take out the dough (of whatever flavor you've selected) and cut it fresh. While we were there, they were also making fresh ravioli, which my kids found mezmerizing. There's a large selection of products in store, from ravioli to lasagna to sauces, drinks, etc. We also picked out some smoked salmon because it's AMAZING (if you haven't tried it, you're missing out), as well as some ravioli from the fridge. If I lived closer, I would definitely come frequently. It's such good quality fresh pasta, and the process was so smooth and simple. If you're in the area and looking for a quick and easy dinner option, you can't go wrong with some fresh pasta, salmon, and sauce!

a delightful place. A wide array of handmade fresh pasta to take home. Excellent non-dairy ravioli options, variety of homemade frozen lasagna and ravioli. They have a small wine selection as well as spices and sauces. They run a small distillery. Every one of their beverages are very unique and flavorful and highly recommended. You can do a sampling and take home some. Very interesting Alcohols. The staffer super nice and welcoming and highly knowledgeable on all of the products and alcohol. Check the hours before you get in. They do not have any on-site food. Everything is take home to cook.
