Great canolis! I was visiting with my son and girlfriend for dinner. I had a salad with seafood and my son had some meat. The good was good and the service attentive. The bathrooms were clean and the hostess helpful. The decor was a bit dated but we were there for the dessert. And it didn't disappoint--the canolis were amazing. Just looked Grandma used to make. Delicious!

Great bartender! I tried the Cabernet she suggested to go with the meatball appetizer. The wine was quite good at $12 for a decent pour. The $12 meatball appetizer was okay not remarkable. If it weren't for the bartender this place would get three stars.

Great wine. Good food. Fabulous Happy Hour. Fantastic bartenders! Whether you're visiting or a local, treat yourself to a seat at the bar. David and Shawna are wonderful and will take good care of you!

Menu has changed quite a bit over the years but keeps it fresh. Food has always been good. Nice place for groups. Sit outside if weather is nice. Service is usually very good

From the moment we walked in Vinifera until we finished our dessert, the service was outstanding! Often times a restuarants upper management will make a quick "one time" appearance but Mr. Vincent Roseborough greeted our table with such warmth and care. He continued to stop by periodically to ensure that our first experience there was unforgettably exquisite, which it definitely was! Our waiter, I believe his name was Steve, was equally as nice, attentive and professional as Mr. Roseborough. Just thinking about the amazingly delicious food is making me salivate. We will absolutely visit Vinifera again.

Better than expected for hotel bar/restaurant. Good selection of wine and beer

I have been to this place about 5 times. It has been busy one of those times. It is in a weird location, it's part of a hotel, and I think it's overshadowed by the Reston Town Center. The fare is kind of fancy. Unless you are in the industry there will be items on the menu of which you have never heard. Yet it is not so formal that you would feel uncomfortable coming straight here from the office. I like that many of the entries are served with the individual elements -- vegetable, starch, protein, for example -- together, rather than each occupying it's own real estate on the plate. Rather than having great tasting portions of each, they are presented as a single unified flavor creation. Yum! Highly recommended.

Excellent place romantic if you want to bring that special one.

The hummus may have been the best I have ever had. My 6 year-old loved it too. The risotto was delicious, rich but light at the same time. Was delightfully surprised to have such high quality service (especially when the waitress asked if she should bring our daughter's food first) and food. Definitely recommend this hotel restaurant to anyone in the area, even if you're not staying at the Westin.

We've now been here twice and had good experiences back times. It's a bit hard to find, tucked away behind a hotel. There's a large wine selection (both times we went with another couple and just ordered bottles, so I'm not really sure how many wines you can get by the glass) and the food is quite good.
