This is a very good “traditional American style”Mexican restaurant. I frame it like that because the menu items and offerings like combos etc… are what you see at most Mexican restaurants like this one. The food is outstanding. Comparing to other similar restaurants this is the best I have had. The service is good. This restaurant has been in business and in the same building for a very long time. The lunch prices are very cheap. This is a must try if you are visiting or live in the area.
We ordered for pick-up. I ordered the Quesadilla Fajita Steak with Rice/Salad (1 star less regarding the salad, it could use some help you can see I didn'treally touch it..) and my hubby had the Quesadilla Texana. Besided the salad everything else was delicious 😋 I think we found our new local spot. Oh lets not forget that they also have very reasonable prices with nice size portions. I am looking forward to my next meal with them to try a different dish since these were so good.

Sorry I missed the start of the plate, I promise the Quesadilla took half of the dish with a quarter of rice and quarter of salad.
Oh also my hubby's Texana was HUGE!!!! plus they provided with our order warm Chips & Salsa...

The level of authenticity brought it in every meal is amazing. Great service great food. I've been a regular here for years. You'll always feel welcome. I've never been disappointed. This will always be the most authentic Mexican food around!! They have great prices as well. Be sure to tip well because this is way more than worth it. Omg the salsa is fresh and delicious! Enjoy

This place is a good Mexican restaurant if you are in a little bit of a hurry. Me and my son came here and my son got to test his Spanish skills. And then the food. It is the best Mexican restaurant. So come on down to El Dorado and get the best Mexican food ever. Very patient staff!
The food here is excellent and you always get service with a smile. Very affordable, delicious and you can get a top shelf margarita for about the price of a regular drink anywhere else.

You know when people say they found an awesome "Hole in the wall" Mexican Restaurant? They're probably talking about El Dorado. You're not getting anything flashy here, but the food is very good and the prices are affordable. I love this place.
Not a lot of people at lunch, very quiet and peaceful. Food is very good!

Just not sure why they are closed from 2-5pm it’s unprofessional otherwise the food is the best
My girlfriend and I dined at this restaurant on a Friday around 7pm. Not too many other customers, it wasn't too noisy either. The service was spectacular, our server completed every request quickly and accurately. The prices were okay, they were reasonable for a restaurant in Raleigh (about $15 a person). The food was overall pretty good, the meat, veggies, and burrito etc were delicious. The rice and beans were average, and the portion of rice was a little small. The salsa wasn't cold, more like cool/room temp. Next the tortilla chips weren't hot, they were more like warm/room temp. But those things aren't really a big deal, plus the salsa was pretty good. Overall dining at this establishment was a great experience and we will consider going again 9/10.
