O-ku

My husband and I came here to celebrate my birthday. Everything was FANTASTIC! We had a few small plates including the dumplings and Otoro spoons. If you enjoy fatty tuna, I highly, highly recommend the spoons. My husband got the hanger steak and I tried the Angry Salmon roll. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. Our server, Matt was also amazing! He made the night that much better. We'll be back!

Hard to imagine a way for this meal to have been better. From the salmon to the shrimp to the sushi to the sake, everything was exceptional. Our server Adam was also *top-notch*, which rounded out a beautiful evening in their covered outdoor seating area.

First , second , and , third ... great food and the kindest staff . You get great food, elegant ambiance, great decor and great service. My boyfriend took me for my birthday and he couldn't have picked a better place ! The food and drinks were amazing and everyone was so welcoming . I even got a birthday card that was signed by most of the staff there with kind and genuine messages 💕 That took the cake for me ! We also were GIVEN sata andagi and Prosecco for a bday toast! We had the O-Ku rock shrimp, dumplings , curry noodles with salmon , and the salmon , lemon and orzo . For dessert complimentary sata andagi and we got the chocolate miso torte. All photo worthy and the taste was pure perfection ! Our bevs were the Clouds of white ( x2 for me, so yummy), Shogun, and Sugar and spice . Such a wonderful night and great upscale Asian cuisine experience . I regret not trying any sushi but we will be back for sure .

Our server Coco was fantastic and so sweet. We were celebrating an anniversary and they really treated us. The service is always great when we go. The miso butter salmon is AMAZING. A decent portion and high quality dish even though it isn’t sushi. The Japanese elote is also worth trying.

O-ku sushi knocked it out of the park for me. My friends and I went for our pal's going away dinner and had made a reservation for the special occasion. Our server, Austin, was so great in making sure we had water, drinks, and anything else. We got their cocktails, sugar and spice, which tasted great and was strong. For appetizers, we got shishito peppers, edamame, o-ku rock shrimp, and two nigiri. The shishito peppers were stellar being cooked just right with salt to highlight it's flavor. The o-ku shrimp was fried and had sauce, but was light and not an overwhelming taste. The two nigiri were also light and refreshing in its preparation. We ordered six rolls and the absolute stars was the salmon and lemon roll, the wagyu angry roll, and the soft shell crab white spider roll. The salmon and lemon roll has this zest of lemon flavor that compliments the salmon and simply amazing taste. Then the angry roll features the famous wagyu roll that simply melts in your mouth as you eat it, and overall wonderful and balanced flavors with the lobster and aioli. The soft shell crab is fried but not overwhelmingly fried where you can taste the crab, salmon, and mango puree. The sushi was stellar and I'm still thinking about that wagyu roll. For desert, we ordered the yuzu pavlova and sara andagi. The yuzu pavlova is a great sweet treat with a fruity taste and good texture of hard outside and soft middle. The presentation was also high class. We also got the sara andagi which were donut holes and not heavy despite being a sweet and fried. It was a great way to end the night with the amazing service, food, and restaurant!
