Believe me when I tell ya this place has the best food within 100 miles(maybe more). The service is top notch and the live music never disappoints. And quite possibly the coolest owners in the world. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a drink and dinner I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Love that they take reservations. Amy our server was very helpful with this being our first visit to Leroy’s. I though the menu had a nice choice of offerings plus had a special of the day. My husband had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and some corn bread , which was really good. I had the shrimp platter with parmasian fries and roasted Brussel sprouts.....so good. The prices are reasonable the food was yummy and the service was top notch! We’ll return and bring friends.
This was highly recommended by our neighbor and it met the hype.
Clean and rustic meeting the style of restaurant.
Great service with awesome welcoming attitude and very attentive.
Meet and cheese board was the best ever! Various meats, cheeses, nuts, fruit, and condiments.
Pork belly steam buns were delightful. Well cooked with a perfectly tender pork belly protein.
Ribeye, black eyed peas, and fried okra was great. Cook on steak was perfect. Grilled nicely basted expertly and oven finished as ordered. Black eyed peas were very fresh and refreshing with a medley of diced vegetables and garlic mixed in. Fried okra was crispy with great texture and perfect dipping sauce.
No desert, too full.
I dined here twice in my week long stay. The Spicy Crab Roll is the perfect way to start, but the winner was definitely the Meatloaf entree. Hands down the best meatloaf I've ever had. That gravy will want to make you come back for more. On my 2nd visit I had the Shrimp n Grits and the texture of the grits wasn't to my liking but the shrimp were made perfectly.
Hidden Diamond! The servings can feed two people. We went on a Sunday, NFL games on & live music. Order the fried okra appetizer. Okra was fried too hard.
I had the Jambalaya and my friend ordered the Ox tails with collard greens & cornbread. The food was absolutely delicious! We had more than enough to take home. If you are in Punta Gorda give them a try.
The food was delicious. I loved the decor of the place. Waitstaff was very nice & efficient. The only problem was that it is a little tight to get around in. I highly recommend walking around Punta Gorda enjoy the beautiful downtown area then stop in and get cocktails and great food.
Saturday afternoon and we got a table for 5 right away. Food was REALLY good, my husband RAVED about the gumbo and they were able to make it with and without okra. Cajun Chicken Pasta, Chicken and waffles, meatloaf, and crab rolls. My dish was the chicken and waffles. My honest opinion, waffle fell flat and Chicken was super salty but it had a GREAT crunch and flavor. Because of everyone else's dish, we WILL definitely go back. I'd like to give their menu a sample w the other dishes. I also got their banana pudding to go. Can't testify to that yet as its for later. 😏 Maleya (sp?) Our waitress is beautiful and she was attentive and quick!
What a great place in Punta Gorda -our server was incredible a sweetheart who helped with our choices tonight - atmosphere was great - my wife got the Huckleberry Lemonade- amazing- I got the smoked Ol Fashion - was a bit weak in the pour but good - a must get are the deviled eggs - the gumbo was awesome but would like to see potato salad as an option vs rice, the wings were great might be the best in town. The Spicy Krab Rolls were a disappointment (due to the artificial crab) I just can’t do fake crab meat - otherwise they would’ve been great. I’d give Leroy’s my favorite in Charlotte County to date! Will be back to try the rest of the menu!
Great place in downtown Punta Gorda FL for drinks and a bit to eat. Often have live entertainment. Good libations. Nice atmosphere. Good food. Burgers are great.
Leroy’s in Punta Gorda is a beacon of Southern comfort food coupled with enchanting old-school charm that makes it distinctly special. We indulged in the chicken biscuit gravy and the captivating Nevermind Burger. The chicken, fried to sublime perfection, paired delightfully with buttery, flaky biscuits. A luscious layer of sausage gravy served as the perfect complement, binding the dish together with its savory goodness.
The Nevermind Burger was nothing short of a revelation. As described by our knowledgeable server, it promised a unique experience and duly delivered. Each bite was elevated by a smoky sauce, intertwining with the burger’s flavors to create a symphony of taste that was both surprising and comforting. Without a doubt, Leroy’s stakes its claim as a must-visit breakfast destination. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, it’s a culinary haven that shouldn’t be missed.
Great seafood, the gumbo was amazing and left me with a second serving the next day. The chicken and waffles were incredible, so much so that we got an extra waffle to go! Nice atmosphere, kind staff, great drink menu, great portions, and an all around great place for dinner.
We came in for lunch on a Saturday, and there was a private celebration being held, so Im not sure if the live music is normal, but it really set the vibe. Started out with mimosas and an order of deviled eggs. The eggs were some of the best I've ever had. We split a crawfish mac-n-cheese and a crabcake dinner. The crawfish mac was so creamy and cheesy with a great blend of seasoning. There was a lot of meat in it, which was a lovely surprise. The crabcakes were flakey and cooked to perfection. Not too dry and full of meat. I wish we had room for dessert, but if we are ever back in the area, we're getting the banana pudding because it sounded very good. Great atmosphere and service. We sat at the bar, and while the bartender was serving both regular customers and some of the attendees of the event, she was quick and responsive and very pleasant. The whole staff seemed really welcoming.
