Kevin,Laura and crew did an excellent job making sure everyone had a great time on St Patricks day. The food was delicious even though they were cooking for hundreds of people. I had the Corned Beef ,potatoes and cabbage. The corned beef was melt in your mouth delicious and the cabbage was cooked with the corned beef for a great flavor.... the way it is supposed to be done. My husband had the Fish and Chips which were done to perfection as usual . Great day
We are weekly customers at this very, very unique place. We’ve been customers from ‘01 through tough times and then growth and expansion to today’s unique and friendly place ...!
Certainly, the real plus is the excellent food ...! Fish & Chips are outstanding....
Celtic Ray! We ❤️ you! The beer selection is TOP NOTCH. Darian and Izzy took great care of us! We love drinking beer on the swinging tables outside. This place is a must go!
Our favorite Irish Pub and grill in Florida. The food has always been superb and staff friendly. Beautifully decorated and a more authentic Irish establishment you won't find in Florida.
Now this is one serious Irish Pub.
Guinness poured perfectly and the food was AMAZING!!!
Danny was awesome! So friendly and the atmosphere is perfect.
I'll definitely be coming back for more!!
Great fish! Not dry. Has a smooth batter. Goes great with tartar and vinegar. The coleslaw is sweet, yummy yummy. French fries seem home cut. seating is wrapped around the bar, not a typical restraunt. It's has cut nooks and crannies for a single person or a couple to squeeze into. Lots of cute pictures, signs, and writing on the walls. Much more seating outside, there are sun covers. Loved the potato and leek soup, very dense like a broccoli and cheese soup. Large potato chunks. Tried a guest beer blueberry wheat flavor, tasted like a dessert, incredible. The Irish soda bread was to die for. Its thick but soft and excellent for dipping. The people running it seemed nice. The only issues we had were they do NOT have sweet tea and they initially forgot our soup. Good service, will come back. Hoping they get a pumch card for those fish and chips haha. We all 3 left very full and waddling.
Went here for their St. Patrick's Day event, my second time. Considering how slammed it was with people, including the street next to it that was closed off, the efficiency of service and quality of product was outstanding. Plenty of places to go for drinks and food, wait time was not that bad for such a large event. The bartenders and food servers were friendly and pretty quick. One price for all drink types made it easier, and besides traditional Irish fair they had food trucks with a variety of other choices.
Visited Celtic Rays while visiting town to try the unique atmosphere, authentic Irish cuisine and have a quite romantic dinner. Ended up sitting on the swinging picnic benches out front to avoid the sauced up patrons out back listening to a cover band. The facility is unique and beautiful. Outdoor 2 level back patios and bar were very unique, indoor pub woodwork was beautiful and more than expected and out front the quiet and swinging picnic benches added just the right amount of privacy that I enjoyed. The salad and homemade honey balsamic was delicious. The tap Guinness was right on point. Note you have to order your food at the bar for those seats but they being it out to you. The pasty and chips (fries) was so good! I have never had anything like it. I would totally visit again to try more food and a different seat at Celtic Rays. Thank you Celtic Rays !! Cool restaurant and good food !!
My Irish eyes are smilin', love this place!! 5 stars all the way. Live music every week with no cover. Check them out, you will not be disappointed! 🍀
One of the best Irish Pubs in SWFL. Great staff that make solid drinks. Here is my favorite, Gin and Tonic. Go check it out and have yourself a pint.
Great live music, this time Folk n Harmony from Sarasota (my daughter loved them). I end up ordering enough food for two meals because I just can't decide what to skip. Scotch eggs a must. Potato and leek soup also a must. The shepherd's pie or Guinness pie coin flip. Fish and chips are top notch. We tried the beer cheese dip, and it was awesome... stop in with an empty stomach, and you won't be disappointed!
Great place for delicious food, cold drinks, friendly staff also daily music.
