Steak n Shake has the best, made to order specialty shakes.
I really do enjoy eating their caramel apple shake , even though it's for a limited time.
My two son's love their burgers and fries combo for only $4.99.

We were travelling home to KY and pulled in here to get a quick soft drink and snack. Two employees came out the side door and acknowledged us and we sat at the drive-thru for about three minutes waiting for someone to take our order. We finally pulled to the window and they don't open until 11:00 A. Not a problem, but those two employees saw us pull up and stop and never said a word, and my window was down. I thought it was a bit rude and inconsiderate.

Love this place- the Emory location is an awesome representation of Steak ‘n Shake. The online ordering is perfect and convenient and my food is correct, hot and ready every time. I live in South Carolina and still specifically seek out this location every time I’m headed up north.

They had you ordering at the counter as soon as you came in. It was lunch rush and the line was backed up and moving very slow. I don't know if this was a staffing problem or new policy but I liked better where you came in and sat down and then ordered. At least you wouldn't be standing in a line. Food was very good when it came out.

A few people I know have told me they liked the place so I decided to try it. The onion rings were soggy and extremely greasy. The Frisco Melt sandwich was so greasy that I couldn’t really taste anything but grease. My mom had ordered the Garlic Double Steakburger sandwich. The same… terribly greasy. It was so grotesque. Neither of us could eat much of our sandwiches. The snickers shake my mom got was so rich it was sickening. I felt sick for the rest of the day and into the following day. I won’t go back.

Always AMAZING. I always get the Frisco melt and it never falls short of delicious. Friendly staff was a plus, and their fries are the best. You can not convince me otherwise.

Different experience. It's more so a fast food like an mcd now. No servers or anything. Food was still good although they limited the menu now from covid.

The absolute worst french fries ever. Super skinny cut, hard & dried out, stale tasting even when fresh....So bad, they give them to you whether you want them or not. However, the burgers and milkshakes are spot on.
