Found this gem on my Quick tour of Portland restaurant hopping. Quaint and charming with a high-end essence yet wonderfully friendly and charming staff. Great selection of bourbon along with other cocktails and wine. However, the aura of the style and lighting definitely gave me a bourbon feel. I sat at the top bar and settled in for some mushroom toast app as perused the drink list and opting for a smoked bourbon creation of their own. It was delicious! Served with an impeccable large ice block with their logo freshly stamped into the top. The drink was served with half poured into the glass in front of me and the other half left for me for me inside a smoked and corked bottle to indulge upon when I felt ready. Thanks B & B - great stop for food, cocktail and atmosphere. Look Forward to sharing with others.

Very unique drinks made by talented folks! Great oysters especially when it is “buck a shuck”! Busy spot and drinks aren’t cheap but good atmosphere especially downstairs! Highly recommend the loose cannon and spice trade for drinks!

You have to go. Even if you're a "don't wait in line" person (like me), it was totally worth the (not too long) wait in line. The drinks were so creative and tasty. Very friendly service and amazing ambiance. If I'm in Portland again I'd go back in a heart beat.

This bar is a must must visit. Everything from the drinks to the food to the service was on point. We went for my wife's birthday eve and let the bartender mix up some of his favourites for us. Kaleb was just amazing. He made us some amazing drinks and was kind enough to tell us other spots to hit up on our trip to portland. One thing I always appreciate is having great conversation with the servers and thats exactly what i experienced. It's a little bit of a wait to get in but it's all worth it in the end. The food was a highlight as well. We ordered the crisps with goat cheese and honey and it was a perfect accompliment with our drinks. We also got the chicken curry popover which had an Indian influence. And trust me being from India, the chef has nailed the flavours. Their menu looked appetizing and the place is definitely a favourite among locals and tourists.

We had the Chicken Curry, the Mushroom Toast, and the half dozen Oysters. All were exceptional. Ashley was super helpful and a very friendly server. Our drinks were wonderful as well. I recommend the smoked old fashioned.

The seasonal signature cocktails and warm old English ambiance are a welcome delight on a weekend with last minute Christmas shopping and a snowstorm. It’s a perfect spot to chat and take a break from the afternoon out and about. Service is on point and our server was legit a cool person. I had the Loose Canon which was not only artwork but hit the spot.

The best cocktails I've had in Portland (maybe anywhere!) - creative, beautiful, and delicious. Great ambiance, both inside and outside. Update: back in town and had to visit. Definitely my favorite bar of all time.
