Just exceptional. I will certainly be a return customer. The staff member I spoke to on the phone was professional and pleasant, and when I met her in the shop to pick up my orders, I recognized her immediately because she was still so professional and pleasant. Service aside, I'm not aware of a higher quality chocolatier in Portland or its surrounds. They could yell at me on the phone and I would still come back for such exceptional chocolate work.

It's so difficult to sum up just how incredible Chocolats Passion is and how highly I recommend them to others. To put it simply - this is by far one of the very BEST chocolate shops I've ever visited, and certainly the friendliest! Catherine and her team of chocolatiers (special shout out to our friend, Sarah!) put so much time, effort and of course passion into what they do. The only downside? Once you get a taste for these chocolates you keep on coming back for more, and most other chocolate just doesn't taste nearly as delicious! An easy 5 stars, and an even easier recommendation to others! Merci, Chocolats Passion!

My wife and I somewhat accidentally ran across them last evening while waiting for our food to be ready at a nearby local spot. Wow are we glad we went in! The designs are so wonderful and frankly look like works of art. The flavors are just spot on, chocolate is quality (not sickly sweet), price is excellent (we are use to these costing frankly 3x as much in the Boston area). Such friendly staff as well. They were prepping for the next day but were very happy to chat about the flavors they had left and were also happy to chat about good local restaurants to try when we are next back in town. We will be back in the next time we are in Portland and will be doing some web ordering for sure!

Amazing Artisan chocolates, vegan hazelnut spread, caramels, hot chocolate. I love this thoughtfully procured chocolate heaven! The owners take great pride in sharing their creations and are extremely helpful & patient as you peruse the selections. A must do when in Portland.

Absolutely amazing chocolates! Gave these delicious little beauties to my family members as Christmas gifts, and they were an instant hit! I don't eat much sweets, but I couldn't get enough of these chocolates. Very impressed with the intricate flavor combinations and the quality of ingredients. Also, the service was absolutely wonderful; I look forward to coming back again and again. This place will be a must-stop for all my Portland guests, too!

I have been buying from this chocolatier for several years religiously for gifting. Wonderful customer service and better chocolates. They never disappoint (unless they run out!!!) and I love supporting them.

One thing I like about French chocolate is the delicate flavors and these are it! The French jellies are tasty as well because you can taste the fruit without overpowering amounts of sugar and the texture is a nice balance between soft and jelly like. The service was outstanding from the welcoming atmosphere to the tasting. Note on the dragon, those are pre-order only. For pricing, it is less than other French chocolatiers I’ve been too though they are all on the high end. So I’d say it’s a good deal for luxury chocolate.

If you are ever visiting Portland Maine and you like or love chocolate, then this is the must stop place of the state! This is complete artwork for your mouth! Well, it appeals to the eyes as well. It's a very small place tucked away down a back street. It is off the beaten path but well worth the hunt! Exotic flavors abound. She is a French trained chocolatier and well worth the investment of a gastronomic adventure.
