New Seasons Market

I’ve been waiting for things to change since the news of the sale earlier this year. So far, so good, though! As they’ve grown, I’ve found myself drawn to other small, local grocers, but I do love how there seems to be a NSM in about every neighborhood in town. It’s great to know I can pop in on my way to dinner at a friend’s - when it’s allowed! - for a last minute wine or dessert and know the selection and friendly associates will be a constant in any of them!

At least this new seasons is controlling entry, but I've never seen a store handle the checkout line this poorly through the entire COVID-19 pandemic. It took 30+ minutes to check out. No apparent reason, just sheer incompetence handling the register staffing and queuing. Bring some people over from Trader Joe's to show you how to run a checkout line, and fire whatever overcompensated middle manager set this up. Also, they closed/blocked-off the stairwell. Absolutely no way that's acceptable to fire code, even during COVID-19.
