Garden Bar

I used to live in the apartments across the street from Evergreens was only able to try it out once before COVID - I am excited that they've opened back up and was able to come in and check it out properly! The restaurant concept is very popular. Just like the Backstreet Boys always say "I want it that way"!! You tell them how you want it. You are able to make your own bowl or choose from a variety of signature salads, wraps, or grains! We went with El Sombrero and a make your own. Couldn't really go wrong. The staff was very friendly and gave us some great flavor recommendations as we wanted to switch it up a bit. Both salads were fresh and packed with flavor. Upon our next visit, I think it will be good to try out a wrap or a grain bowl! So many awesome options to choose from!

Focaccia is defined by the hella lots of olive oil it contains. It gives the bread a luxurious, rich mouthfeel. I love focaccia. Evergreens Salad please stop saying you have focaccia when what you give me is more like a saltine cracker than a nice piece of bread. Your bread is so gross it makes me audibly angry in the office where we've tested it, the bread is better used as a door stop than for human consumption. Please do better. PS: We LOVE the salads every time.

Till today I would give this place 5 stars, I have had salads from 2 other locations when it was pre-Covid, Garden Bar. While I would like to return, I just can't pay for a pink and wilted salad, with a browning avocado, and dressing that resembles a settled green juice vs dressing. Absolutely not the same restaurant.

Today I went there for the 1st time. Had wanted to for a while and glad that I did. The salad was delicious and the portions were generous. I had enough for dinner and will be taking the rest to work tomorrow for lunch. The staff was very friendly from the moment I walked in and was quickly greeted to the moment I walked out. Would go there again.
