First time in and will definitely be back. my boyfriend and i both got the half Original combo with fries. We were both glad we settled on the half at the end, so much food, but SO GOOD! A hidden gem in NW Portland

The Philly cheesesteak was mouth watering and it did not let me down what so ever. An absolutely fantastic experience, they have these cheese fries with bell peppers, onion, & meat covered in Nacho 🧀 Cheese, Need I Say More.. The Really nice Lady Diane was such a pleasant woman to talk to plus her daughter (assuming) Danielle I think I heard her say was very kind and lifted my mood with her smile and positive attitude my whole experience was so great and uplifting I have a family member in the hospital across the street & those two women brought me so much joy and happiness and sunshine on such a gloomy sad and worrisome day. So I personally wanted to say you changed my day from bad to amazing just by a little conversation from the both of you!! Thanks😊

WOW! Firstly, the service was great, I was treated like a grandson at a family reunion. And then there's the meat... no one else in town seems to understand how absolutely fine you must chop your meat. This was the best sandwich I've had since I was a kid back home. Please do yourself a favor and try this place. They take cards, and you can call in your order, but if you can bring some cash, do so, because those credit card fees are no bueno.

We LOVE eating here. The philly cheesesteaks are sooo good, we drive all the way out to the Portland location from the burbs to come eat lunch here when we can. The staff and the owner are also very friendly. If you have a craving for a philly cheesesteak sandwich, i highly recommend coming out to Portland off 23rd.

Best Philly Cheese Steak I've had in Portland area. Tender & juicy. 2 whole sandwiches fed 4 people no problem. I could eat a whole in one sitting...but would likely not move for a while 😂. Very pleasant atmosphere and the lady who took my order was great to talk to.

Great Philly Cheesesteak and other Subs. The sauces were good. They were huge difficult to hold in one hand. It is located in a basement with murals on the walls.

So i never seemed to get here when they were open. Finally, the universe aligned, and I got in. My wife had a half American cheese Philly and loved it. My son in law had the Grant's Original and added mayo and loved it too. I had a whole Wiz Philly- literally amazing. In my top 2-3 Phillys in the area after my first couple of bites. The sweet peppers were so good in it. The thing I loved most was the fact that every bite had cheese, meat, and peppers. Great rolls, too. Perfect amount of softness and density. If you like a good Philly you need to get here. The only downside for customers is they are closed on Saturdays for religious purposes. I'm fine with that, and think it is refreshing that they have values. But you have to remember that Saturdays are closed. Great job and great place!

Really great sandwiches. They're pretty expensive, but they're huge and have a lot of high quality meat, so the price is justified. The owner is very nice as well. Highly recommended if you're specifically looking for a Philly. The provolone and wiz are both excellent.

One whole sandwich (12 inch) and small fries will run you about $23. A bit high but the food was excellent. The bread was nice and soft and everything was cooked well. Fries were well seasoned. I was the only one dining in but they were really busy with take out orders. They kept apologizing for the weight to take my order and to serve. I really didn't wait that long and they were very nice. When I am back in the area I will definitely come back.
