This neighborhood find is part of the Zipper mini-restaurant destination. The toppings vary from the usual (pepperoni, Margherita, Italian sausage) to the more interesting (alligator sausage, Greek inspired toppings & Applewood Ham instead of Canadian Bacon). The crust is thick and bubbled like a good NY-style pizza and the cheese is melty and smooth. This is a great go-to place for a quick slice or whole pie take out. Fun, inventive crew working in there too. Looking forward to getting back there.
Let me tell you about this place. I discovered it through willamette week but I am definitely coming back for more. The pizza was delicious 10/10, the crust wasn’t so crispy but soft with the right amount of crunch. I loved it so much. Toppings were amaze. Wait wasn’t bad. And the service was top notch.
The pizza will slice wasn't anything crazy or extreme, just a really good mushroom pizza. I think they do there cheese really well, being just the right amount of stringy & the sauce is delightfully tangy. I love there seating in back.
I love the thin crust! Quality and price are great! All the staff are really nice. They have the BEST cookies I've ever eaten in my life!! I love this place! My favorite pizza place that sells pizza by the slice! It's really convenient to go there on my boyfriend's lunch breaks. We get a good deal and have great food. The location is perfect!
I really enjoyed my meat monster slice. The sauce is perfectly sweet and good amount of toppings. Small space but bar style seating is available. Service was fast and friendly. Nice prices on their specials too. I got the drink and 2 slice special for $9.
When I entered Slice for the first time ever I had concerns that this was going to be another snooty too cool for Portland pizza experience.
To the contrary, it was a warm and friendly welcome.
Evadora was my customer service representative and she was amazing.
She was knowledgeable and competent.
I immediately felt valued with that went about choosing my slice.
With Evadoras encouragement I decided on the vegan slice. DELICIOUS!!!
much more flavor than I anticipated and the quality was way higher than other vegan pizzas I've tasted.
Slice is a hit!
If you don't go for the service definitely go to taste great pizza.

Great place to walk in and grab a slice and a beer on the quick and for a decent price. Nice people. Good job on the dough - it's got good crunch to chewy ratio. The slices aren't the overblown shove-everything-on-a-slice types. They are manageable and yummy. 1 slice is a nice light liunch with a beer. Two slices fill me up usually. Three or more would surely be a feast.

I'm not gluten free or vegan but I need a pizza as such. Got some great suggestions from the cook and I somehow got the praise. Plus they have the ultra rare flavor of Jarritos, Guava! I'll be back.
