This romantic little spot is my favorite place to share a special meal ( or drinks ) their food is exceptional and their drinks are delicious...and strong. I had the chop cesar, calamari and prosciutto arugula pizza tonight, it was more then enough for two people. The calamari was especially good. They have done an excellent job at spacing tables inside and the new outside seating feels wonderfully European. I love the idea of dining al fresco in Multnomah Village, especially during these perfect late summer evenings.

My husband and I have been here several times after moving to the area and this is our favorite spot, hands down. We pledge to always try one new dish (tapas) every time we go, and it is always phenomenal. Whether you want something lighter like the chopped Caeser or heavier like steak or ravioli, it's simply bliss. My personal favorite item has to be the Fig Crostino. Staff is kind and attentive and food is served quickly with a relaxed, low lit vibe. We've had the owner himself make and hand deliver our cocktails! Love it!

Very impressed by this place. It is an Italian tapas style restaurant. We came in for my mom's birthday. For four adults we ordered the Caprese salad, the Caesar salad, the Polenta Cakes, the Ravioli, the Calamari the Meatballs and the Lamb. It was all very tasty. We also ordered the chocolate mousse and the creme brulee. All was delicious. We were all very hungry and full after so you could probably get away with less dishes for the same amount of people. Will be back and highly recommend!

Wow! Can't believe it took me so long to go here, especially living in the village. We had 3 dishes that came out bigger than I expected, and boy were we full! The chanterelle crostini special was absolutely incredible.. actually everything we had was! Amazing food and the service was great! Will 100% be back sooner than later.

Nice intimate bistro with delicious tapas. We had gnocchi, beet salad, and fig crostini. Everything was on point. Service was fast and friendly. The margarita was refreshing with fresh lime juice. Highly recommend!

Great little place in Multnomah - I've always wanted to go in, and definitely glad I did! Great happy hour menu with Italian tapas. The deviled eggs and avocado toast were top notch! Will definitely be back for a happy hour with friends or a great date night in the future.

Always a good time coming here. The food is delicious (I personally recommend the shaved cauliflower and the poplettes), the drinks are tasty, and their happy hour offers great prices if you're on a budget. Staff is always friendly, as well. One of my favorite places to celebrate small victories.

Really nicely prepared small plates. Out in good order and solid preparation and presentation. Varied selection with good vegetarian options.
Wonderful service that was attentive and warm.
Cozy setting with decent music playing.
Only downside was the cafeteria level utensils. Would be better held with heavier pieces.

Came here with a group on a busy Saturday night, they graciously squeezed us in. The food was good, tapas style so tried a lot of things. Server was pleasant and fun. Would come back!

We really enjoyed our evening and dinner at Casa Vaca. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. We went expecting traditional Mexican fare based on the listing photos (burritos, nachos), and found out it turned into a tapas-style bistro about 6 months ago. The experience shift was well worth it. The waitress helped guide our menu selections, and we enjoyed sharing a Caesar-avocado salad, fish tacos (highly recommend!!!!), garlic bread, gnocchi with a heavy mushroom flavor (so delicious, gnocchi was so smooth), and skirt steak. Topped off the meal with some flan that had a delightful orange essence. It was an evening that was unexpectedly elevated and we can’t wait to go back. It’s a perfect date night spot in the heart of Multnomah Village! Or it can be a spot to grab a quick small bite - the menu is very versatile in that way.
P.S. the menu seems quite seasonal, so my list of selections might not be around forever.
