Best in the area. Fresh everything. I tell absolutely everyone I know to eat here. And the service is always exceptional!

Awesome banh mi’s, super tasty and very affordable. The egg rolls I had were delicious also. Maybe best of all was the customer service. Guy working the counter was friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to my next visit! EDIT: Updating my review a year later to say these are STILL the best banh mi’s in town, and the gentlemen working at the counter is STILL friendly and welcoming to all his customers. Take this as your sign to come here as soon as possible, this is great food.

They are probably one of the a few banh mi spots in town that served their sandwich warm and it makes a huge difference. The breads are crusty and airy, fresh veggies, tasty pâté. Staffs are really friendly. It seems like they get a lot of local, neighbor-ish customer. Would to go back :)

Banh mis are hands down the best sandwiches. Fresh-baked crusty yet pillowy bread, crunchy pickled veggies, savory meats. You literally cannot construct a more perfect sandwich. And HOB makes among the best in Portland. They bake their own bread fresh daily. Their selection of meats are delectable. And they're always so polite. Pro tip: get the spicy pork. I've never had a banh mi quite like it.

I'm so glad we found out about this place! We were driving around craving Bánh Mì and this happened to be the only spot still open. It was a trip for us but absolutely worth the drive. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the sandwiches were to die for. I only wish we had discovered this spot sooner because it is so so good. We will definitely be back. We both got the spicy pork, but there's a lot more I want to try.

Great place! Atmosphere was lacking BUT what it lacks it makes up for in hospitality and flavor! We stopped here on our way through town and we really enjoyed our bahn mi. It was fresh and flavorful! We’d definitely eat here again if we lived nearby.

Was super hesitant at first because I’ve never had Vietnamese food but it was so amazing! I got the #5 and my boyfriend got the #13 and they were both super good. The milk tea is bomb too.

Very delicious banh mi!! They are very affordable too at only $6 a piece! I have had the house special and the onion tofu and both were great. The owners are super friendly as well!

Excellent banh mi Dac Biet. Loaded with all of the good stuff a special banh mi should have tucked in the middle of a fresh warm French bread roll. Service is fast friendly and the price is right. I will return...............soon.

My husband and I were visiting Portland for the weekend and stopped by to pick up a couple sandwiches - grilled chicken & pork. The staff was super friendly, sandwiches were made promptly and were delicious. They had great social distancing in place, even asking us to wait outside until our order was ready. The sandwiches were so good we’ll be happy to stop here again next time we’re in Portland.
