Pizza was Pizza week, update with new meatball sub.....
Ordered over the phone : very easy

I walked in and the person at the bar was speaking with another worker at the other end and I found it Very refreshing that the other worker saw me walk in and come over and that person let the other one know I was there instead of continuing a conversation, The meatball subs are very good and the service was excellent and the place was very open and spaciouso I would definitely recommend and come again.

I found this place my googling “Black owned brewery Portland” and it was one of the best google searches ever because this place is AMAZING. They were so welcoming and the place looks great. There are plants everywhere and a super cool mural. The beer list my be short but everything we tried was high quality and super solid. There is no wrong choice. They have a great cocktail menu and cider as well. But I saved the best for last, the PIZZA. I don’t know what magic is in that dough but it was mouth watering. The veggie toppings were fresh and the marinara sauce was perfection.

This style of pizza is not something I’m always in the mood for, but when I am, I will only settle for Assembly. By far it’s the best Detroit style pizza I’ve had out here. I haven’t had a bad experience yet. The crust is delicious, yeah…I love it. The beer does just fine to have with the pie. And it’s just a great space as well. Plus it’s 21 and older, which is my favorite. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

When I have the taste for a home town favorite style of pizza, I go to Assembly! Detroit-style pizza is known for its rectangular shape and crispy cheese-covered edges ,frico crust, an inverted layering with toppings beneath cheese and delicious sauce. Assembly comes close to replicating some of my favorite pizza in Detroit ( Clover Leaf and Buddys Pizza in Detroit)

Assembly is a family favorite. Their beers are phenomenal. Their pizza is unbeatable. Staff is always friendly and sitting at the bar can make for great conversation. The cocktails are wonderful too! I would give them a 6th star if minors were allowed. Maybe one day! 🤞

I normally don't like Detroit pizza, but Assembly's is wonderful. The special today was Wisconin inspired and it was damn good. We also enjoy bringing a board game to play while we eat.

Pizza is really good. Detroit style pizza from what I have tried in other places usually has lots of Pepperoni, so they could increase quantity of pepperoni. But overall pizza melts in mouth and equally crispy. Bartender was nice and gave me few samples to try out before I can choose the one I like.

Stopped by today in search of some legit Detroit style pizza... This place does not disappoint! The pizza was scrumptious and the beer was really tasty too. I also loved the space with tons of natural light and a cool mural that pays homage to the Detroit Industry Murals. Our server was absolutely lovely. Will definitely come back!
