Super Size Sushi

Invited here with a group, have no knowledge of exact dish or price? Ate family style. The calamari was ok but too salty, the poached chicken was decent, the tempura crab was ok, the greens were good. The soft tofu was good and the chicken feet soup was ok. Very authentic but not impressed with flavor, was too mild tasting not much spice. Service was decent, kept the tea flowing. No complaints. Overall ok place 5.5/10. Prefer duck house or taste of Sichuan.

Service was good. Most of the food was fresh and tasty but the hot and sour soup was bland and insipid with hardly anything in it and no hot or sour. The real problem is it looks like it hasn’t had a deep cleaning or coat of new paint I about 20 years. Also when we got there they had no other customers but the table we were seated at had a dirty glass top and table cloth. We almost left but decided to stick it out because of the good reviews.

I am so impressed. I was looking for an "authentic Americanized Chinese food" if that makes sense. Not a fast food Chinese restaurant or super American Chinese food like Panda Express. It is kinda a funky looking place from the outside because the building is older but inside is beautiful. I was greeted super sweet by a young lady there. The owner was there and was extremely kind. Very impressed. I got the food home and dished up 3 people. Every single one of them, including myself, say it's the best Chinese food we've had in years, or ever. Not kidding. It was hands down the best I have ever ate. I will now call this my go to for the best in town. Thank you guys so much! Portions are huge!
