Not a bad place at all. Good beers and fantastic service. I might come here regularly, if but for one thing: they hold "brew fests" that are anything but. They regualarily hold them, but under names that make it seem like it's one of the regular brew fests in Portland, when all it is is a way to get people in to drink the beer and get a "free" glass. These seem a bit deceptive and a ploy to get people in.

I live in the neighborhood and this place is walking distance from my apartment. Tonight was not a super great experience. The bartender disappeared for a significant amount of time during our stay - and then he charged our beers to the wrong card on tab. There were only two parties there so kind of hard to do. He handed me someone else’s card. He seemed like he was higher than a kite. This hasn’t been our experience on other occasions so you might want to look into that. Mediocre experience - considering trying other nearby bars.

Been here a handful of times now, each time I come to Portland I make sure to stop in, and am never disappointed! Consistency- I've seen the same bartender each time I've been, his name is David, and he's a friendly knowledge gentleman that knows about the products they have! He's made several suggestions of different beers I normally would not have tried, and each time I am pleasantly surprised! I brought my sister here for her 21st and she asked if she could try a selection of different beers. David put a flight together based off things she told him and she had a great time. I've never left without a growler or at least several bottled beers. I'll be back for sure!
