We found this place on a Thanksgiving day noon (almost everything was closed) while traveling to Portland, it seemed nice from the outside so we decided go give it a shot... excellent idea! Food was great, service is excellent and the place is nice and cozy. Highly recommended.

Great run of the mill diner style restaurant. Nothing fancy. The food was good. I had the Crab and Bacon Benedict. The staff is wonderful at this location. What I loved, as I was observing, was that the front of house staff is very warm and inviting and also goes out of their way to say hi to their regulars. We felt very welcomed. The service time was quick and the waitress helping us checked in very regularly. This Elmers is a great family breakfast location. Their menu has something for everyone and the staff is very knowledgeable about how to accommodate for special food needs.

This place is Amazing. Yadira was absolutely amazing and attentive. The food was the best we've had in Portland so far. Our bill was way affordable for the amount of food we got today. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely delighted by the exceptional dining experience! Thrilled to have savored a delectable dish, complemented by top-notch service that left a lasting impression. If I were to offer a minor critique, it would be the slightly snug booth seating, which could benefit from a touch more roominess. The overall ambiance was inviting, albeit some areas could use a tad more attention when it comes to deep cleaning. Nonetheless, this establishment undoubtedly has the potential to shine even brighter with a few tweaks.

I come here a few times year for the German pancake combo. I think I may have eaten at this location 20 times and that's all I've ever had. That's how good the dish is. Atmosphere is pretty boring, but it's immaculately kempt, and the service is prompt and friendly. Highly recommended.

Best waffles ever, didn’t even need syrup! Bacon was really good and the sausage had lots of flavor. Eggs were just normal scrambled eggs. Fresh brewed ice tea was a nice surprise!

Great restaurant that featured local food products. The bacon was cooked perfectly! The crepes were super light and fluffy with great icing and strawberry sauce. The potato cakes were crispy and fluffy. Eggs cooked nicely and according to preference. The German pancake was huge, buttery and delicious. Orange juice had pulp which wasn't expected but it was fine. Overall a great meal

Love this place, the staff is amazing and if we get Eric he already knows my family. Since we usually come here every Friday or during the weekend. This time around I got an omelette, it was amazing. I also got my all time favorite 🤩 clam chowder yum! The previous time I went I got the Chicken-Fried Steak and Eggs with my clam chowder! I always look forward to getting my Clam Chowder when I go. If you are in the area stop by and try this place out. I honestly can’t remember how long we have been coming to this place but I believe it’s been more than 12 years.
