This is one of the better grilled cheese sandwich places in the Portland area - if you want a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich or mac and cheese, this is the place to go. They do everything from a classic grilled cheese, to one with pork belly or duck confit. Everything that I've had here has been good.

I'm here about once a month for the Oregon sandwich... Pears, brie, and bacon-onion jam. Best grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had. The little cup of tomato soup for dipping is a nice touch, too.

Had the grilled cheese & tomato soup. It was delicious. So good, in fact, we've been back multiple times. They've got all their flavors down. One time they had a special: lobster mac & cheese, with lobster from Main Lobster next door. Tasty.
No indoor seating, decent price point, amazing food. Tomato soups are a must have.
Update 2016 - They have expanded the outdoor seating and added heaters.

Food is pretty good, portions are as expected for a specialty vendor. As stated, they work wonders with cheese. Food is served HOT off the grill/stove/skillet/etc.
Food is slightly pricy, but I guess that's expected from a specialty vendor.
