The vibe was not with us when we visited. Kind of a small place and they didn't really have any goodies or food just drinks. It felt a little snoody and no one greeted us when we came in. Definitely a turn and burn type of establishment for me. Decent coffee.

Love this little coffee shop shared with Soen's japanese food items. They roast their own coffee. Their drip coffee option is almost always a wonderful single origin offering. There are coffee bean bags available for purchase. Their canele pairs so nice with the coffee.
One of their fall seasonal drinks is a kokuto hojicha milk tea and that milk texture has been unforgettable.
We also like to add a menu item from Soen's seasonal offerings which have included dango, inari, and curry & rice, and many more (follow their Instagram to know more). Kakigori is also available in the warmer months.
Seating is limited inside and outside. Street parking can be a bit tough but parking garages are nearby.

Great place to get a small pastry or drink that is located next to Sizzle Pie. We had a canele from here as we also wanted shaved ice from Soen. The service here is very friendly and quick. The canele was delicious and worth checking out.

a great place
Joel, the owner works here himself and is very friendly, despite being very busy.
And interesting combination - gourmet coffee and Japanese petit fours
We had matcha latte and a breve latte.
Match was nearly the best I ever had

Quaint and rising. Locally roasted coffee was made into a solid no-frills espresso. Complementary soda water was a nice plus. The canelé was delicious with a good lemon hint, crispied shell, and succulently moist interior.

Visited this quaint coffee shop and was charmed! The iced latte extra sweet, and iced matcha latte were spot on. But it's their large chip ice that truly sets them apart—a refreshing twist!

Possibly the best cold brew I've ever had. Cold brew with a little oat milk and a small shot of vanilla, and I walked away wishing I had been able to order a bigger size. A quick walk from Powell's and worth any hype. Will definitely look to return if I'm ever back in town!

Delicate creamy sweet karigori (Japanese shaved ice) I had the nectarine and rose water, small. Seated at a table on the sidewalk under a shade tree -

Wow. The reviews are right. Literally the best coffee drink I have ever had. And I am from Seattle and have tried almost every cafe w decent reviews in the city over the years.. I make my own espresso at home most days and that is my favorite but still doesn't compare to Courier's espresso. Not too sweet, just right.. chocolate tasted very natural. They have yummy sushi rolls too! Great vibe. Plan to stop by again in the morning even though it's not on my way out of town.
