Great ramen and appetizers! I hope they open again soon so that I can order more of their ramen.

My friend and I love Noraneko, it’s always our go-to. The ramen is so flavorful! The venue is small and can feel very crowded, which I assume is why they’re temporarily closed due to COVID. Definitely recommend when they open back up, though!

I went here with some friends on my birthday back in November, I wasn't actually feeling ramen at the time, but I am so glad I agreed. We arrived at happy hour and saved a little on apps, which worked out well because I ate my weight in spicy tofu, it was some of the best I have ever had! Perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy/chewy on the inside, the flavor was so good I had to have a second plate! We also shared a plate of kimchi korokke and had to get another plate, so crunchy on the outside, steamy and cheesy on the inside! After filling on apps I couldn't finish my ramen, but I took it to go and even reheated it was amazing. I had the vegetable ramen with extra tofu, and it was so flavorful and filling! For a drink, I had the "Cat Math" cocktail and it was almost too beautiful to drink, a lovely purple- with hibiscus, lime, bitters & rum. The portions are very generous and we all left having felt we got our money's worth. I would absolutely stop here again next time I am in Portland.

Ramen for lunch. I had a class at PCC CLiMB and walked over to order at the counter. I got shoyu ramen with pork belly, 3 gyoza, green tea . So good on a rainy looking for an excuse to come back. Service was helpful and fast

There's so much to take in and only so much space in one's stomach. Our group was MASSIVE and they found several tables to keep us all close together, plus they managed to do so on a Saturday night with only about fifteen minutes warning. At my table we shared the 80's salad, the fried chicken, and each got a ramen bowl (mine not pictured as it hadn't yet been set down), and it ultimately was more food than we could manage! If you're not familiar with anything on the minimally-descriptive menu, the staff know their stuff and are a great help in ordering.
Is it the very best in ramen I've ever had? Not entirely. But the experience, the portion, and the value really stack it up to something so worth taking the break for.

I just want to start by saying that I received some of the best service I've ever received in Portland and it's nice to know there are still amazing servers out this way. Hailey you made our experience one of a kind and that was so wonderful of you. - Thank you again Hailey!
We had the Tori Kara Age and the Spicy Miso Ramen for our meal and got the butter mochi for dessert. This was some of the best butter mochi I've ever had. The Tori Kara Age was just so perfectly crispy and the chicken inside was super juicy and all around just very satisfying. I did not try to Spicy Miso but was informed that it was delicious!
Head on down to this perfectly tucked away little ramen gem!

Excellent off-shoot from Biwa. Loved the Spicy Miso ramen. The bowls come without a lot of add-ons. They have a separate little menu of additions for ramen which includes things like egg, pork belly chasyu, garlic, etc. Didn't take long to be seated, or to get our food on a Saturday evening. Recommended!

Awesome little hole in the wall! The food was AMAZING. Pork was so flavorful and well cooked while still being moist. Not too long of a wait either. Definitely would come back.

We went here after a trip to OMSI, easy walking distance. Walk up counter service but they deliver your food to your table. Ordered spicy ramen, small kara age chicken which was about 7 pieces of chicken with crispy skin, Japanese potato salad ( yummy) and spicy ramen with fried tofu. We came with no expectations but was delicious. I've been to ramen places in Japan and other domestic ramen places and this ranks at the top. Next time I'd add a couple toppings just because it would add that much more flavor. Friendly attentive staff. 1st visit but we will be back!

Value has gone down considerably. Been coming here since it opened. I mean, like hella wait times, madness, etc. A bowl now comes with nothing but broth and noodles and hits high at $11, then if you want anything that makes it special and memorable, (special egg, pork belly... ) you enter the $20 range for a bowl of (it’s good) ramen. $20?! Service was friendly and they do a good job preparing each dish, but gone are the days when Noraneko was the go to spot. PDX has many options now, and while tasty... i think I’ll start to explore various other options in town more seriously. 4 Stars only because it’s still a tasty $20 bowl of ramen.
